  1. Yes, it was indeed a 3* by hotwire. it was actually nice! Self parking is $26 and valet is $29, so we opted for the valet since the parking is in a building across the street (connected to the hotel by a connecting bridge on the 2nd floor) its a trendy, hip hotel and its like a club inside. nice beds, and nice bathrooms! I would go back again, because including the parking, it was worth the price
  2. I got a new hotel for your hotwire list: Aloft in Chicago ORD South 9700 Balmoral Ave, Rosemont, IL, 60018 April 5 - April 8, 2009 : 3 nights Only $45/night. however, i checked their website and theyre charging me $26+tax for parking! Agggh!! (at least its better than the Tremont which charges $40+ for parking!) Amenities: Fitness Center, Business Center, High-speed Internet Access, Golf Nearby
  3. I'm looking for a cheap but clean vegas hotel from april 7 to may 7 (1 month) and i found this: 3-star hotel in Near Strip South Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Golf, Tennis $34/night I tried looking at the list here on the forum but couldnt find a match. any ideas? Thanks
  4. I think i put this in the PRICELINE forum instead of the HOTWIRE forum. This is a HOTWIRE hotel. I called hotwire and complained, because their website clearly states La Quinta is a sample of a 2star property and noway does this La Quinta in even look anywhere close to a 3 star. I went to their website and saw photos of the room and hotel ... yuck. Not only that - hotwire priced me at $74+tax/fees = $88.71 I went to laquinta.com and was able to price the same date for $78+tax = $87 total! I told the hotwire lady this, and she said that hotwire only guarrantees the lowest PRE-TAX&fees rate, not post-tax&fees. bah!!! She said the only thing I can do is the day of my check-in, inspect my room. if its not up to my 3star standards, then call to complain and "we'll see what we can do" I dont want to waste anymore time yacking on the phone with hotwire so i'm probably going to have to suffer at this hotel. This is the first time in my 72 hotwire bookings the past 12 months that i've been gipped! no wonder they have a lawsuit regarding this very same matter!
  5. How dare they call a La Quinta Inn a 3* ??? Anyway thats what I got for $74+tax = $88.71 for 1 night on Jan 21-22, 2009. Breakfast, Pool, Laundry, Internet, Golf nearby
  6. This is not on the california hotwire list, so i hope it can be added for future use.. Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet Access. I called the hotel - wifi internet is free in all guest rooms and parking is free. yehey! 1 room(s) @ $83.00 per night x 7 night(s) $581.00 Taxes, recovery charges, and fees Hotel subtotal $59.94 $640.94 Check-in date Sun, Oct 14, 2007 Check-out date Sun, Oct 21, 2007
  7. Got this hotel from hotwire at $79+tax. Its right under the flightpath of landing airplanes, so every 10 minutes a plane lands right outside the window. Bathroom is clean. room is small. Its supposed to be non smoking but everyone is smoking and the smoke comes into our room through ventilation or something. Basically, this is NOT a good deal unles you can get it for below $50. Extended Stay America Elizabeth/Newark is a better choice, it usually costs cheaper than this Ramada on Hotwire
  8. AmeriSuites Miami / Airport West 3655 NW 82nd Avenue Doral, Florida 33166 (305) 718-8292 Suite, Airport Shuttle, Complimentary Breakfast, Pool, Business Center, Laundry, Internet 9/15 to 9/17 for $59/night + tax = $137.67 this wasnt in the florida hotwire list, maybe it could use an update?
  9. Howard Johnson Inn Lackland/Kelly USA 6815 Highway 90 West San Antonio, Texas 78227 (210) 675-9690 complimentary breakfast, pool, laundry, internet April 25 - 26,2007 $49/night $14.10 in tax $63.10 total for 1 night Horrendously overpriced if you ask me - i read bad reviews about this hotel all over the net, I think i'm going to be staying in a rathole! WAAAH! Good thing I only booked it for 1 night (my first night) cuz I had a feeling it was going to be nasty.
  10. It has: Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Laundry Facilities I got it for $54 on hotwire. details were: 3* Woburn - Burlington Area hotel - $54 -4/20/07 to 4/25/07
  11. This hotel is THE BOMB! I'm here now April 9-11 for $59/night also. They charge $12/day for parking, but they give you free cookies. Its an awesome place, the walk-in rate is $120+ or more per night! There is a heated i ndoor pool thats open 6am to 11pm, and a sauna and gym open 24hrs. The entrance to the hotel has a guard and gate, so no need to worry about your car being robbed/smashed/stolen even if its an airport-area hotel in Newark. The room is awesome , they have wifi and charge $9.99+tax for internet per day. The hallways smell nice, the room smells nice, and the people are all business-type people. it looks like a 4* hotel
  12. I dont know what ameneties were present since all i did was sleep for 1 night (didnt try to look for laundry or vending machines or anything) THe room had a full kitchen - stove, pots, pans, utensils, full sized big fridge and microwave. The sucky part of my stay was i parked my rental car right infront of the main door, and when i woke up in the morning, someone had smashed in the rear window and stolen my GPS (which was hidden in my glove compartment) they left my hat and my radar detector. good thing all my bags and laptops were in the hotel room with me. The front desk lady said it happens often. they have no cameras, and a police report just consists of the policeman giving you an INCIDENT # over the phone, and thats it. It LOOKED pretty safe from the outside, but there was no guard posted, or any cameras, or any gate..so I guess thats considered an unsafe part of philly. the manager said they couldnt offer us reimbursement of lost items ($500 value) or room refund or nothing.
  13. How was it during your stay? is ESA DELUXE better than the regular ESA? why? thanks
  14. It was $63 including taxes..the hotel is your run-of-the-mill Extended Stay America hotel - weird smells in the hallways but i guess its doable if youre on a budget. clean bathrooms, etc. I would recommend it if you're on a short term stay. Like 1-3 days. BEcause they only clean the room once every 7 days (same sheets, same towels, etc) what the!? Good thing Im only staying 1 night - ask for free shampoo at the front desk of all ESA hotels cuz its not provided in the bathroom (only soap is)
