  3. Thanks for your suggestion. I will raise my max bid and lower my star as well. Any back-up plans for me, while i try my luck further. I tried Quickbook from the link given in this webboard and the price seems quite high. If i try booking for NJ, what is your bidding strategy if i would like to stay close to good value hotel and yet accessible. I would not want to overpay. And one last question, based on your expertise in this bidding, how long should i wait before the hotels release their inventory. A million thanks in advance.
  4. Yes, i have bid on both sets of dates up till my limit.

  9. Prague East. I started my bid at $120, was counter-offered with $22 to rebid. $130, then $135. Ran out of free zones so rebidded again 24-hr later. Got it at $137. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: US$137.00 Subtotal: US$274.00 Taxes & Service Fees: US$37.92 Total Charges: US$311.92 it is definitely a good deal coz the hotel's website shows a minimum night of at least 7800 CzK Cheers! :)
  10. My highest rejected bid for 4* was $200 and i began a new bidding for 3* in MTW using re-bid (a few combinations)
  11. Thanks for your tips and strategies. i tried all combinations and got none. :) So i changed my plan and make 3* booking instead. And i got $155 4N 4/30 -5/4 at Paramount Hotel New York on 46th St. Many thanks for yr kind assistance anyway.

  13. I have just enrolled as members here and has only one experience with Priceline bidding two years back. I tried to use your bidding strategy as given in previous posts in getting a hotel in MTW, following your combination right form $120 all the way to $160 but was unsuccessful :) i guess it was fully booked during that period for there is a big conference at Hilton New York from 29may till 2may. should i break my booking then? Any recommendations or help would be greatly appreciated. from Bangkok
