I am looking for a round-trip ticket from Nashville, TN to Anchorage, Alaska, but not until June 20th, returning on June 25th. I can use sites like Travelocity and get between $550 - $650 right now. Two questions: 1) Should I wait a month or so (I noticed on Hotwire that they say the service is best used for trips no more than 60 days in advance) to try hotwire or priceline name your own price, and 2) How low should I bid in general on priceline name your own price? I mean, if I bid $200 and they laugh at me, no harm done, right? I can just bid $300 a few days later, right? Thanks for the help! I've never used Priceline or Hotwire for anything before... CoachB
