  1. Can anyone help ID this hotel? Is it reliable to use the guest score as an indicator? If so, only the Hyatt Place is 9.0 or above, it's 9.1 if I look at 3* PL hotels in that area. 3* offered at $78 for Feb 7-9 (2 nights): Nashville Opryland Guest Score: Rated 9.0 out of 10 (or higher) Guaranteed Amenities: Free Breakfast Free Internet in room Outdoor Swimming Pool Free Parking Pets Allowed Restaurant Airport Shuttle Business Center Fitness Center
  2. We just got back, spent 4 nights there last week.. yes the room was small, but king bed, desk, 2 dressers... small walk-in closet. Bathroom was very small, no tub just a shower. But was clean, quiet, and all we needed. location is great. Enjoy your stay
  3. After a few attempts at lower prices using re-bids in Times Square and MTW, finally got accepted at $186. Probably not the hotel style I was hoping for, but it seems to have decent reviews... Location appears to be quite good so I guess I can't complain. I could probably have gotten it for a lower price but am nearing the arrival date (4 days away) and I just didn't have the patience or time to keep trying! All in all, an ok win. Used the board's PRICELINE link of course.
  4. Started off quite low and re-bid about 5 times using free rebid zones.. I was targeting this hotel specifically so I'm happy to not have bumped up to a 4*! Finally accepted at $55 for Nov 27. Used the board's PRICELINE link.
  5. It was a pretty nice place - the weather was terrible (rainy, cold) but there is good potential for this place on a nice day to enjoy the trails etc. The resort itself is well done, there's still some construction outdoors on the go but looks like it might be close to wrapping up. The facilities were decent, we enjoyed a swim in the indoor-outdoor pool, and a soak in the hottub. Didn't go out for dinner, opted to just stay in and get room service instead - great food. Hope that helps! I'd definitely go back.
  6. i would have never thought to go stay up there - it worked out perfect for this weekend! Was looking for something nice to do on Sat night, and here it is!
  7. Just booked this for $75 for this Saturday May 30, using the betterbidding PRICELINE link of course! Very happy!

  9. After many many days of cheap bids for this region (St. Germain), I started today at $145 and was countered at $171. I rebid adding Montmartre and increased to $160 which was accepted. Forgot to put 4* in the title, and I used the referral PRICELINE link. Thanks again to this board, you guys really make this easy!! Looking forward to our trip!!!
  10. Yes I forgot to say thanks in that thread... it was very helpful in winning this!!! Next step, hotel in Paris for a few nights (hence my HOTWIRE thread, but I think I'll try my luck with PRICELINE instead)

  12. Got it! June 6 - 9, offered $200 to start, countered at 249, rebid adding Mestre and upped it to $225. Done! (and I used the PRICELINE link of course)
  13. Just tried for 6/6/8 - 6/9/8, offered 180, countered at 249... rebid adding Mestre (free rebid) at 200 and turned down... will wait my 24hrs and try again tomorrow, and try a counter of $220 I guess, unless someone here has better advice?

  15. Ended up booking at 4* Renaissance Fallsview. Rate was $209 but Expedia had it for $109. Rate match guarantee brought it down to $80/night! Thanks for your help
  16. My original search was based on 1 room, 2 adults, 0 children. Wow, now that I run a the same search, I don't even get that same result anymore!! I wonder how bad a 2* really is.. it's just for a bachelor party, so after a night of drinking it probably won't matter all that much! Searching 3 rooms, 3 adults per room yields me a 2* with comp. breakfast and pool(s) as the amenities.
  17. Oh - my apologies thank you for the clarification. Yes, I definitely need a hotel June 2 in Niagara, without exception. 3 rooms actually, total 10 adults between the rooms. Very flexible, just a decent place within walking distance of the main core / casino area.
  18. Best Western is not in the location I require (for a wedding). Thank you for your help.
  19. Did not end up staying. Thank you for help
