I decided to go with this option - today's price was $119 - and yes, it is the Sheraton Delfina (formerly the Four Points). Even though there's a $22 valet fee, we decided it was worth it overall to get a much better hotel for the price of a 2 star!! Rate for our dates on Sheraton website was $279 a night. As always I used the betterbidding HOTWIRE link!
Ok I just found the deal again, $4 a night more, but when I looked into the likely hotel I discovered a $22/night parking fee! Eek! So I think I'll pass. So really I've answered my own question - deal was not there about 4 hours ago, has reappeared!!
I found a deal I liked about 10 days ago on hotwire - and now it's gone!! Infact there's nothing coming up for my dates in the area we wanted :) Is it possible that another deal may come up in the next few months? Travel is early Sept, but I don't want to leave it too late and get stuck! Also this is a priceline question - can you bid on the US site if you don't have a US address? I'm from Australia. Thanks!!
Thanks for the confirmation! I decided to go with a hotwire listing for 4* east of strip which turned out to be the Westin. Decided the 5 min walk was worth the savings! See other post :)
What a bargain!! Hotel rack rate $175 + tax... Was looking on the strip but nothing near this price was available and infact I'm looking forward to the 5 minute walk! I booked using the link through this website :)
