Westin Tysons Corner - Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA I was bidding between $100-$150 in Arlington, Alexandria, Georgetown/Foggy Bottom, Crystal city with no luck. This Westin is retailing $269 excluding tax. 2 rooms at $150 per night = $300 plus $42.04 taxes/fees. Grand total = $342.04 I still saved about 50% so I'm pretty happy. :) I had trouble with the savingsbarn link to make this bid. It wouldn't open on my end. :) Anyway to give credit where credit is due after the fact?

It took a couple of tries but I got the Omni for $100 per night plus taxes for 2 nights with a grand total of $236.97. :) I'll have to factor in $40 extra for the extra adult I have in our room once I get there. I had this same hotel originally booked for $436 with my AAA discount w/extra adult! :) It's still a good bit of savings. :o Originally bid $70 and added in Whitehouse-Downtown with the re-bid and increased up to $86 with no hits. I wasn't willing to expand my zones. I wanted to be in the Dupont Circle but I wouldn't mind being in the Whitehouse-Downtown area. After 2 days of no hits I tried bidding $100 out the shoot in Dupont Circle area and it was accepted. I used the savingsbarn link. Long time lurker, first time poster. :)
