Thanks
Its 4 adults and we are there 6 nights so I'd rather not sleep on a sofa bed for that long for that price....I am on holidays after all
Not convinced we want the mirage either...since its 4 adults we want a roomier place, that's why the Venetian is nice but we are also paying in CDN so when we go over budget a bit then add on the $40 per night resort fee...it's too much.
I really like the idea of the Venetian.
Id love to be able to book via HOTWIRE so I can search with 4 adults OR book with PRICELINE EXPRESS and have the option to pick a bed type.
Yes there is!
We NEED 2 beds and it doesn't give us the option to pick that.
there is a 4.5* that allows me the option to pick beds....thoughts?

Hi There
Some hotels I've been looking at are the:
Venetian or Palazzo
Caesars
Wynn
Bellagio
But if other options open up that are mid strip I'd consider them for sure.
a casino on site is not mandatory
my max would be the $120 mark since all hotels in LV will be tacking on another $35 per night.
Flights are booked!
I will say that I'm looking for a place that has an amazing pool since we will be there during the summer and that is mid strip so walking from place to place in the heat isn't far.

Hi there My travel date is Feb 15 2011 - 1 night - 2 rooms - 4 adults in each room I'm looking at 3 places 1. 3.5 * - $95 - 3.5/5 trip advisor (shuttle, fitness, pool, rest, business, internet) 2. 2 * - $49 - 3.5/5 trip advisor (shuttle, pool, rest) 3. 2.5 * - $76 - 3/5 Trip advisor (shuttle, pool, non smoking, internet) If you would like all 3 of these places on different threads just let me know Also has anyone ever signed up for the lower rate email notifier on hotwire - if so, does it work??? Roothey
Ok I didn't get that you could only do one transaction per day.....which now I understand why you change the areas and star ratings. It was a good learning process and I thank you for your help I bid resort - rancho mirage area - $60 and was declined then a friend tried at $70 and was accepted I got the Westin Mission Hills Palm Springs There is a 25.00 resort fee which isn't bad b/c even a 1 * motel in that area is around $100 /night(posted price) So I'm happy. I will try it again if I need to and I used this PRICELINE link!
Hi Thanks for your response We are looking for the palm desert/indio area which those hotels are in that have previously won. 3* or resort doesn't matter. (I have noticed though that some have nightly extra resort fees) My max bid would be $120 per night. I was hoping to start at $70 as most winners get it for around that price. I will for sure start from here if/when I feel confident enough to "name my own price" :) Roothey
Hi I'm typically a hotwire user but I would like to try Priceline I'm looking for Mar 3-7 2010. I have recently seen 3+* or resort hotels won as JW Marriott Desert Palms, Renaissance Esmeralda, Indian Wells Resort & Hyatt Grand Champions won on the forum. Anyone have any tips for a first time user to get one of these 4 hotels??? Thanks
