  1. First bid $65 for a 3 star hotel in the Ann Arbor North area and it was rejected. I then added Ann Arbor West to the selection and bid $72 and it was accepted. Total with taxes $88.20
  2. The Amenities shown were: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business
  3. Had been bidding on PRICELINE and got up to $97 / night so took a look at HOTWIRE and saw a deal for 4* $92/night and figured out from the hotel list that it was probably the Wyndham Chicago as it had a pool and other amenities matched. Total with taxes $328.81 for 3 nights. Never stayed there but it is in a great location.
  4. I figured out that Hotwire had the Book Cadillac Westin available for $105 a night. Other bidders had won at $80, $95, $100 and $95 so I bid $75 on the morning of the Saturday night we wanted to stay and didn't get it (so we decided to drive home instead of stay downtown).
  5. Bid $99 first time and got it. Not bad looking at hotel prices - wish I had started lower. Going to U2 concert. Your Offer Price: $99.00 (US dollars) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 2 Subtotal: $198.00 (US dollars) Taxes and Fees: $36.04 (US dollars) Total Charges: $234.04 (US dollars)
  6. I bid for all the regions in Manhattan starting at $150 per night for 3 and 4 * and incrasing by $10-$15 each time. I added regions and increased my bid price at the same time. Probably not best method. As soon as I added the Soho region I won at $211. I was bidding on 3 & 4* so I'm glad I got a 4* win.
