I am looking at this hotel for August 9-12. it's a 4 * on Priceline. These are the amenities. I was looking at the list on this site trying to use the pet policy to narrow it down but I can't find either hotel that matches exactly. Price is $129 US per night.

Would $128 US be a fair price for the Renaissance in July? Or is it better to wait sometime for this price to go down or for some other deal? I have never booked a hotel downtown Toronto before so I can't really compare to past experience.
These are the full list of amenities and the price is still 128 US per night for July 5th -8th Toronto downtown west
Pet friendly, Indoor pool(s), Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Children's activities
Would this be the same one on Priceline? Works out to be $40 cheaper overall

I looked at HOTWIRE through the link on this site, looking a 4* for July 5-8th.
4 * downtown Toronto west
It has 4/5 rating on TripAdvisor will between 1501-2000 reviews. I am thinking the Renaissance Toronto downtown Hotel. Would this be the one?

Decided to get it on Priceline as a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal you were correct. It was the Comfort Inn Airport North. Thanks.
Yes sorry a restaurant is listed, price is $52 US. I used the links on this site.
I decided to pass on this hotel based on the low recommended rate, I am presently looking at Priceline through the link on this page. April 28 one night.
$66 Can. a night each for 2 rooms, 3* Toronto airport east, guaranteed amenities: indoor/outdoor pool, airport shuttle, fitness center, free parking, free internet, business center. I am thinking maybe Hotel Indigo Toronto airport or Holiday Inn Toronto airport east maybe?
I have followed up on the previous post. Any input on this one would be appreciated.
Old post but I ended up booking a known hotel using Hot.wire instead of an unknown one. It was one if the Rosen hotels on I-Drive.
Hi, haven't been here in a while, I'm trying to find out possible locations for the 3 * with the amenities I found using you better BiddingHelper.com. I have the full list included. Its for April 28-29 for 2 rooms. It only has a 50% recommended rating which kinda scares me. In looking at Tripadvisor I am thinking Quality hotel and Suites. What do you guys think?
FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Airport shuttle, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking
Those are the same amenities someone had for Holiday Inn and Suites S Kirkman Rd recently if you look a little further down the page.
I just got a great rate through Thifty, its a special on a ford Focus or similar. $147 base rate for the week Oct -28-Nov 4th. It was much higher on HOTWIRE.
Oct 28-Nov 4th are my dates. I am looking for just a compact or even economy is fine. Right now the prices are still a little high. In doing a comparison it looks as though about a month out seems to be the best rate. I have one reserved right now with Budget for $230 taxes in, with Hotwire it is around $370 taxes in, about a month from now its $165 for the week using the HOTWIRE link.
We stayed there 3 years ago and loved it for the price and location. Can I ask how many people you searched for and was there a recomended approval percentage by the listing?
yes, I guess I should have kept it in the same thread.
$42 per night through the HOTWIRE link on this site
I need help identifying a hotel with the following amenities:
It's rated on Hotwire as a 2 1/2 star with 3.5 out of 5 on Tripadvisor. International Palms Resort look about right? It matches the ratings on TA.
Free Parking
Free Internet
Free internet access in all rooms
Fitness Center
Pool(s)
Restaurant(s)
Business Center
Laundry Facilities (self-service)
High-Speed Internet Access
Accessible for the blind
Accessible path of travel
In-room accessibility
Accessible bathroom
Handicapped parking
Roll-in shower
Oh ok, I thought it would be for that specific hotel, its just for that class in general....I'll keep researching. They're not making it easy...lol
Yes those are the exact dates. The last time I book in Oct 09 I was pretty certain it was the Sheraton City and it was. This time I am a little more aprehensive because I am not as confident and I don't want to be stuck with a property that is not that nice for 7 days. I may keep watch for a bit longer before I commit. Based on what you have seen on this site is a 3* for $50 per night a reasonable price? I believe back in 09 we had the Shearaton for $35 or so a night. How is PRICELINE compared to HOTWIRE? I have never used it.
Ok, looked again, changed to US dollars. Its $50 per night. Everything else is the same as stated, request is for 2 adults, one teenage child. I always thought that Hotwire is mainly for shorter notices, so that hotels can fill rooms as that date gets closer. Thats why I was wondering if its better to wait, my vacation is still 6 months away.
Done, price has dropped slightly to 50.67 per night, everything else is the same. I imagine it is probably to early to be using HOTWIRE for a late Oct booking. When would be around the best time to book?
