  1. Hi all, haven't been on this site in a while, we're planning a trip to Orlando Oct 28 for a week. I found this 3* with the following amenities. Previously we got the Four Points Sheraton Studio City and loved it. The description is close to known hotels but not exactly. What is your best prediction? 3-star Hotel in Universal Orlando - I-drive North This Hotel features the following amenities: Free Parking <amenity names only please... not descriptions> Fitness Center Guests have access to exercise equipment; an additional charge may apply. Pool(s) Property offers at least one pool area; hours and dates of operation may be seasonal. Restaurant(s) Property offers at least one restaurant on the premises; hours and days of operation may vary. Business Center Guests have access to business equipment and services; an additional charge may apply. Laundry Facilities (self-service) <amenity names only please... not descriptions> High-Speed Internet Access Guestrooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access; an extra charge may apply. Should also add there is a resort fee, and its recommended by 75% of Hotwire customers. Looks like Best Western Orlando gateway maybe?
  2. Yes I am pleased, I booked Four Points Sheraton by Studio CIty Orlando for 7 nights, and one night Holiday Inn Select for 1 night in early October for 2 adults and a child for a grand total of $358 US using HOTWIRE. At this point I am certainly pleased when comparing to a site like Expedia it would have been just about $800. We are trying to do this trip on a budget and thats a great way to start.
  3. This hotel ended up being the Holiday Inn Select Orlando-Int'l Airport. I did book it at the rate of $46. Not the one I was expecting but it gets mostly positive reviews.
  4. Here are the specs Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Date is for one night Oct 9 Orlando MCO area. $43 This appears to be a match with the Wingate Inn, does anyone have any experience with this place?
  5. Yes it is indeed described as a 3* on HOTWIRE. Thanks again for this great site.
  6. It looks like the Clarion Hotel Universal to me. Based on the info you gave and what was on HOTWIRE's site.
  7. I just booked through the link here using HOTWIRE and got the Four Points Sheraton on I Drive for $38 per night for Oct 2-9 dates. These are the amenities: Amenities Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High-speed Internet Access
  8. Sorry should have said Orlando, Florida. I just realized I posted in Priceline instead of Hotwire. Maybe a moderator can move it.
  9. I am looking to book 7 nights Oct 2-9. In doing the research here using the amenities listed on Hotwire and comparing it to Tripadvisor I am pretty certain I can get the Four Points Sheraton for $38 per night. Is it better to wait closer to my actual trip dates or to try and find a hotel, or is this as good a as I can expect? Here are the amenites listed: Fitness Center Pool Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access It also gets 4/5 stars on tripadvisor based on 240+ reviews. It's pretty certain to be the Sheraton right? Anyone stay here recently?
  10. I am having a hard time figuring out this location. 3* in the Lester B Airport area. Amenties include airport shuttle resturant high speed int. fitness center business center Nov 26 for 1 night $52
  11. Hi, I decided to give Hotwire a try, it turns out the hotel was indeed the Westin Nova Scotian. Got it for $79 per night. Seems like a good deal considering the same dates on their site start at $179.
  12. Actually I just found this on the Westins website WestinWORKOUT
  13. I can't really find either hotel in that area that fits all amenities. Heres what they list Smoke Free Rooms Pool(s) Business Center Golf Nearby Spa Services Fitness Center Restaurant(s) High-speed Internet Access Tennis Nearby
  14. Hi I have never used hotwire before and am a little nervous using it. It lists a 4* in Halifax for Oct 11-13 for $79 with this message: "Traveler Rating(3.5 out of 5) from Trip advisor What's this? Based on:60+ customer reviews Last Reviewed:June 2008." The only one listed as 4 * with a 3 and 1/2 *user rating with over 60 reviews that I could find on Tripadvisor is the Westin. Am I reading that correct?
