  1. 5/24-5/27 2013 4 Rooms, 8 Adults, 8 Kids 4* / $157 per night Amenities Pet friendly, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Handicap Parking, Roll in Shower Is it likely the Firesky? Not an exact match as far as I can tell...
  2. Amenities: Free Breakfast, Free Internet, Boutique Hotel, Near Beach, Restaurant(s) Avalon Hotel 700 Ocean Drive Friends booked this but Wasn't on the board, thought I'd add.
  3. The room for 2 adults 2 children in each room, got 4 rooms --> $307 a night + tax. Was pricey. On a side note, ended up needing to cancel one of the rooms and hotwire and the hotel were accommodating.
  4. This is different from the list so I thought I'd update. A friend booked this for 16 of us this weekend. Radisson Martinique on Broadway. Listed as a 4* under Empire State Building Area. Amenities Below. Hope this helps keep the list updated. Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking
  5. Was surprised to see no listings for any of the hotels in Youngstown/Girard Ohio?
  6. Michigan Avenue - I'm thinking you're talking about the one in Chicago. So then no, the area is not close to downtown Chicago, and would require driving (and $$ parking) or taking a train in. If you want to be close to downtown Chicago, look at the areas closer like Mag Mile, Streeterville, Gold Coast, or Loop.
  7. For kicks, I put in closer dates -- 3/23 - 3/25 and a 3.5* (Beachwood/Mayfield Heights) came up with amenities matching the Hilton. I can't confirm it, but its likely that the Hilton is back up to 3.5*
  8. So was this the Sheraton or the Wyndham? Here are some parking garages that are cheaper that are located on the other side of the river -- about a 10 - 15 minute walk and are cheaper than the $50. Also check the rates at Northwestern Hospital Garages which may be cheaper. http://www.nmh.org/nm/hospital-guide-parking http://www.parkmillenniumchicago.com/Parking.aspx
  9. so some type of plumbing issue and the wedding got moved to the Hilton East Brunswick! Any idea what this 3* might be? I see on the list Hilton is listed as a 4* but the 3* result on Hotwire has the same amenity set. The hotwire page also says 3.5 rating on Tripadvisor which matches for the Hilton. 3* Pool Fitness Internet Restaurant Business Center (displayed only when you click popup link to see all amenities)
  10. Had a change in my plans and booked this from the mobile web. Amenities: Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access 95% Hotwire Recommended. Parking was $44/night so be careful and look for street parking if the timings work for you. Hope this helps others and confirms the amenity set!
  11. Ha yes -- The NJ one is for a wedding, as is this one -- so both need to be confirmed soon. The NJ one I have a backup refundable reservation made at the Doubletree where the wedding is so unless I can better determine a hotwire result I wont be changing that. This one is more flexible since the wedding is not at a hotel. Thanks.
  12. 3* 95% Recommended Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center Internet Golf I'm thinking maybe the Hilton or the Hampton Inn? Seems unreported. Any other best guesses?
  13. July 5 2012 - July 8 2012 Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive All-Inclusive Resort Near Beach Food and Beverages Included A la Carte Dining Options Water Sports/Ocean Activities Included Evening Entertainment Included Daily Activities Included Complimentary Breakfast Children's Activity Program Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Spa Services All-Inclusive
  14. 3* in Bridgewater/Somerset - not on the list. Amenities: Suite, Fitness Center, Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Kitchenette Maybe its the Candelwood Suites?
  15. Weather caused a mis connection. Started at $55, no dice, and it accepted at $60. Multiple Rebid zones in Miami for 3.5*. Thanks to the board!
  16. So been looking at this date for a few weeks now. There used to be a 4* South Zone hotel also for $65, but it showed only 75% recommended, and had bed choice. So I'm thinking the 75% recommended might be the Omni. The previous 4* that showed up didn't have children's activities as an amenity. Then as of yesterday, this option appeared. I jumped on it (and actually didn't realize the children's activity amenity...i wasn't sure what I was getting!) But it turns out this only matches the posted list. Hilton Cancun Golf & Spa Resort 4* South Zone 95% Recommended No Bed Choice Resort Beachfront Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Center Laundry Internet Golf Tennis Spa Children's Activity Program
  17. Same amenities as listed on the list. Was $89 straight, but $93/night if you wanted bed choice. There's 4 of us so we chose 2 dbl beds. Says: Recommended by 95% of reviewers Resort Beachfront Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Internet Golf Tennis Spa Children
  18. I stayed at the Courtyard Miramar in San Juan in May of 2009. On April 27, they charged my credit card $13.65. It showed up under "HOTEL EXCELSIOR". I eventually figured out that this hotel is what the Courtyard used to be called. I called their accounting department this week , and she told me that this was a "Resort Tax" that they tried charging Priceline, and it was rejected and thus passed on to me. I didn't get into disputing the word "resort" with them -- but I was firm about not being notified about a charge, and that it being nearly 1 year later, its completely unacceptable. She agreed to reverse the charge. I want to warn others who may have booked at this hotel before to check your credit card statements carefully. This, in my opinion, is a shady practice.
  19. Sure, thanks. I just wanted to ask if maybe we had some type of indication that the hotel was no longer participating in PRICELINE.
  20. Is there a reason this Sheraton isn't on the Priceline list? I see on PRICELINE, they still have 3.5* as an option under Novi, Michigan.
  21. I ended up not using HOTWIRE. We booked the Royal Decameron for $163/night for both of us, All Inclusive, for 3 nights. Sorry I wasn't able to help fill in a blank for this one!
  22. I looked at 3*'s on TripAdvisor, and then looked at the % recommend as well as the user review ratings. The Holiday Inn is at 72% and the Sunset Beach Resort is at 78%. I'm now looking for 4/16 - 4/19 and its coming up for $129/night on HOTWIRE -- Same amenities as previously reported. I'd be happy with Sunset Beach, and i guess content with the Holiday Inn. Any way to further narrow down or is it a crap shoot?
