Yes, what is a good bidding strategy along these lines?
Well what's the best that can be expected then? I'm staying at the Marquis on business, but I can transfer easily enough.
Hi, can someone suggest a strategy for getting the Marquis from 5/9 to 5/12? Or am I just going to wind up at the Sheraton?
Thanks
It's still $33 for the Marriott Somerset, but does anyone know what the going rate is for the Bridgewater? The discounted rate is $79, so maybe $45? Say for 3/17-18. Thanks.
There's only 1 3* hotel listed in Amsterdam South. Does that mean it's a free rebid zone for a 4* or 5*?
Started at $70 for Bloomsbury, Went to $80 with Marble Arch. Got this hotel I like it. Too much for internet though.
I can confirm this as the Hilton Amsterdam. Same profile. Just got it for $119, 2/17, one night. Having a lot of problems finding hotel rooms this weekend, so lucky to get it I guess.
It's 15 minutes outside of the city centre by tram, so I think that it's a little false advertising. But the reviews sound nice anyway.
Has anyone ever done better than $137 for this hotel (for approx Feb 16-20)? I'm looking for a hotel in Amsterdam and that came up as a counter-offer. I suppose it's worth it.
How does the De Rood compare with the Barbizon? I was offered the Barbizon (presumably) for $137.
Got a $37 rate at the Somerset Marriott. Not as good as the old $33 rate, but still OK.
Bid first directly for $33 for Somerset, expecting this to come up. Nothing.
Bid $37 for Somerset and Edison. Nothing.
Bid $37 for all zones except Carteret (phah), got the Marriott.
So maybe some sequence will still get lower than $37 since they eventually took a fairly low price. Nice hotel even for $37.
Manager wouldn't give me a breakfast coupon. How do you get an upgrade here as someone else mentioned? Did get 2 PM checkout, but they always do that.
Bid through savingsbarn.com.
