  1. New hotel in this category. Best Western Lafayette Executive Plaza & Conference Center 4343 State Road 26 East Lafayette, Indiana 47905
  2. This is a hotel that isn't listed on here so thought I would post it. This was my 1st bid too so could maybe have got it lower.
  3. Just won this hotel on priceline and hopefully this info might help someone.
  4. OK we took the advice and waited a bit. We wanted 4* so yesterday bid up to $100 and got rejected. Today we bid in $2 increments and finally got accepted at $106. Price on their official wesbite was $270/night so we're delighted. Intercontinental Century City 4* Aug 25th-Aug 27th (2 nights). Thanks for all the help.
  5. We decided we would have to go down to 3* instead of 4*. We have been slowly increasing our bids and today got rejected at $120 for 3*. Quite frustrating having seen people get accepted at this rate for 4*.
  6. We bid up to $150 and got rejected. We are currently re-thinking our plans.
  7. Most people on here have tended to get the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza (which is $289) or Intercontinental Century city (which is $270). These rates are much higher than I expected, and seeing how previous bidders have done I would say we wouldn't like to go over $150.
  8. We want to stay in the Venetian for our trip in September. We arrive in Vegas on Sunday 9th September and leave on Saturday 15th. The Venetian website is currently showing $299 per night whilst priceline shows the following: Sun - Mon - Tue - Wed - Thu - Fri - Avg.Rate $400 $380 $380 $240 $180 $300 $313 We were hoping to get it for around $150/night as we weren't there for a Saturday night but this now looks unlikely. Do you think $150 is still possible, or looking at the priceline rates maybe try only bidding for the final 3 days as they look cheaper, and we can stay elsewhere the first 3 nights.
  9. We've got no maximum in mind, obviously we want to get it as cheap as possible. Having a quick browse through previous bidders is appears that most people tend to get 4* in this area for between $100-$130, so that's what we're aiming for I suppose.
  10. We want to get a 4* in Beverly Hills/West Hollywood for 2 nights, arriving 25th August, leaving on the 27th. Any tips for this please, haven't used priceline before.
