  1. This site is great, I imagine it must be a lot of work but it is an amazing resource.
  2. Hi, I won this the other night for dates 04/09/08 to 04/13/08 First I bid $100 for 4* in the French Quarter, I was praying I would get the Omni Royal Orleans. My bid was rejected. So then I got kinda stupid. I rebid for 4* and added Downtown New Orleans and I changed by bid to $90. My logic was that I wasn't going to get the Omni so if I was going to be on Canal St I didn't want to pay as much. My bid was accepted but I ended up with the Renaissance Arts. It looks like a great hotel with great reviews but its just about the furthest hotel (from the French Quarter) in the Downtown zone. I had been hoping for either the Marriott or Sheraton on Canal St. Now I wish I had either upped my bid in the French Quarter zone or lowered by bid even more when I added Downtown. Oh well you live and learn.
  3. Hi, we just stayed here Dec 15-17. We paid $129 a night on Hotwire. The location is great, right across from Faneuil Hall and it is pretty close to the T (Haymarket & State Stations). The room we received was kinda small as it was a corner shaped like a wedge. The tub was huge and the room was in pretty good condition but the bed was small as it seemed like a double. Gotta love the mini bar, $4 for a Coke and then a $2.50 restocking fee, no thanks. The lobby bar is a pretty cool place to hang out. Overall it was good for the price we paid but not worth their regular rates.
  4. Hi, got this on HOTWIRE last night. $129 12/15/07 to 12/17/07 3.5* Boston (Quincy Market Financial District) Restaurant, Fitness Millennium Bostonian Looks good!
  5. I am doing a search for 12/15/07 to 12/17/07 and I am getting this same hotel I think. 4* $99 Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, High Speed Any chance this could be the Westin-Watham? That is a gorgeous hotel. Update: Someone on Trip Advisor mentioned booking the Westin Waltham for $79 a night recently so I bet thats what this hotel is. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g4...sachusetts.html I will not find out however as the Westin is Non Smoking. Great hotel but I don't feel like riding down the elevator and walking outside everytime I want to smoke.
  6. Just reporting in from a trip I took a couple months ago. I got it through Hotwire. 3* Phoenix Park Hotel Boutique, Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet $84 per night 3/30/07 to 4/02/07 (Cherry Blossom Festival time) Washington DC (The White House - Capitol Hill) Nice clean hotel for the money. Across the street from Union Station which has tour bus stops and Metro. You can fly in, ride the train and never need a car with this location. Restaurant was pretty bad (service and food) but plenty of places to eat in Union Station. Neighboor was reasonably safe besides the normal transients you get at a train station. Not a huge room, but clean and comfortable with a flat screen tv.
  7. I stayed here at the end of March 2007 and paid $84 per night through HOTWIRE. It was great for the price, definitely clean and we got a good night's sleep. Its just about across the street from Union Station which is very handy for catching tours and the metro. The only bad part was the restaurant "The Dubliner" downstairs. Don't waste your time there. The service is horrendous and the food is even worse. Go over to Union Station to eat instead. Other than that, it was a great deal and very convenient.
