Stayed two nights on a Priceline win April 13/14 2007. Generally positive experience. Pros: The lobby, though small, is presentable and staffed by friendly employees. Common areas such as hallways are attactive and in good repair. The room, no doubt a Priceline designate, was average sized though quite comfortable. The bed, a king, was very comfortable with both foam and down pillows. Both my wife and I bring our our down pillows when we travel. I find some beds have foam pillows that are so hard, I have slept without them. No problem here. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated with a picturesque south view. The bathroom was small with no tub , but with a large shower. Water pressure was fine and there was lots of hot water. Fitness room is well equipped with mulitple treadmills and ellipicals plus weight stations and equipment. Cons: Being downtown, we paid $18 for valet parking. This needs to be worked into the bid price unless you need a central location. Personally, I hate to pay but understand the facts of life. Still, I prefer to park myself rather than wait for a busy valet. The check-in is a problem in that there is no real drop off location. The entrance doors sit immediately beside the entrance to the parking lot (not the hotel's). I can envision major traffic jams on weekdays. All in all, a nice place deserving the 2.5* rating, perhaps a 3*. We didn't try the restaurant BTW.
