  1. I.D. help North Seattle I have a reserve booking for an Econo Lodge for travel in the Seattle area Aug 10-15. The motel if fine but would like something a bit better. I'm traveling with the family so as I did with Spokane, I'm being conservative and checking out Hotwire. (I have tried to pickup a PL 2.5* in Bothell which apparently is the Country Inn and Suites but haven't been successful as yet). The Northgate area shows a 3* with pool and breakfast (both great with kids along) for $92. Embassy/Hampton Inn/BW seem the likely possiblities. It's not on the Hotwire list. Anyone have a guess?
  2. Hotel is the Mirabeau Park Hotel at 141.01 after fees and taxes. I was hoping for the BW but the reviews are fine the best rate was $84 per night plus tax. Not bad. Used the HOTWIRE link in the previous post. Thx.
  3. Thanks for the cue. The 4 listed are pool, fitness centre, restaurant and business centre. (excuse my Cdn spelling :)) . Since initially posting, I've used Travelocity's refining tool and may have narrowed it down to a few properties. Using the feature select buttons, I then chose Spokane Valley and came up with the following available hotels - Mirabeau and Best Western. Both are 3*, though I did narrow using 2 or 3. The BW seems the more likely but I'm ready to be corrected. I've only used HW once before in Edmonton where it was quite clear which hotel we would be getting. In any case, I may just link off here and pick up the hotel. *$63 plus fees seems not bad for August. Comments?
  4. Our family is traveling south into the States for a vacation in Idaho and Washington (2nd/3rd week of August). We want to spend a couple of nights in Spokane. After a thorough search of the board, I've found lots of great info on the Priceline side. Since it doesn't quarantee space for four, Hotwire seems the safer option. I can't seem to find much to ID what Hotwire is selling. They show several locales including a 3* in East Valley at $63 a night. Can anyone offer any insight into what this might be? Great site.
