Was hoping/expecting the Iron Horse, as "Golf Nearby" had not shown in any other listing. Knowing Milwaukee geography, however, if this property is considered golf nearby, any hotel in Milwaukee could say the same thing. Regardless, the location will work just fine for our weekend plans. Listed with Indoor Pool, Smoke Free, Restaurant, Internet, Business and Fitness Center, Accessible. Suspected it was the Pfister, as no other 4* in downtown MKE has a pool that I am aware of.

Rejected at $42, free rebid to $45 which was accepted. Same property going for about $140ish on Hilton website. Used BB PRICELINE link for bid.

Was hoping for the Iron Horse, and was pretty confident on getting it as the 'golf' icon showed up in the amenities list (the only 4 star noted so far). Amenities listed were Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf. Also listed as 100% satisfaction. Kayak had it going for $235 on several sites.

Started at $38, (no go), was asked to increase to $53 (did not). Did free rebids for $41 (no) and $44 (yes). Familiar with this property (parking$ , waterpark, etc...) Used BB link to start bid.

First bid - was hoping for the Hyatt. Used link from BB.

Trying to find a place the night before a Brewer game. Bid/rebid up to $66 2.5* downtown with no luck Added Northwest, dropped bid and upped star rating to 3.5 Went to 3* in Northwest, got the Hyatt Place. A little farther out than I'd prefer, but will work well with friends arriving from Green Bay/Fox Cities.

Got it first bid Fine stay, but be aware this property is undergoing renovations until at least March/April of 2009. We received a renovated room (which was wonderful) but we were there on a very low occupancy day. $23 valet parking, $20 self park.

Several stays at this property. If you get the room adjacent to the exercise room, request another unless you like hearing the TV and trundling noises through the wall at 5:00 a.m.

Have gotten the Hilton the last several times, but was very satisfied with the Hyatt. I did call ahead to request bed types, and was politiely told that Priceline rooms are "run of the house", but would comply if possible. Upon check in, they accomodated bed requests with no qualms, and gave us adjoining rooms. Note: Self Park and Valet were the same price ($20) - let us leave the car until mid-afternoon (we went to a noon Bucks game after checking out), and happily checked our bags until after the game. Great service this stay.

Got it on the first bid - staff informed me they were only about 10% full (day before Thanksgiving). Very satisfied with this property/price. Hilton website was asking for about $130/night.

Tried 4* in White House/Dupont/Capitol Hill (adding zones) @ $66/$72/$77 Same strategy after 24 hours at $80/$84/$88 Dropped to 3* at $80, and got the Hilton- Hilton Website showed this property @ $299/night for these dates.
