I believe that it was the Amerisuites and is now the Hyatt Place.
The Westin that is mentioned here just switched from the Doubletree. We stayed there in Dec. 2006 when renovations were going on and were told from one of the Execs. that this would be happening in the spring.
I have but nothing is showing up. As usual you have been very helpful and I appreciate your quick reply. Thanks thereuare!
I apologize. I was looking for the actual name and didn't look closely on what this link was about. When I punch in the name on Google to research it, it shows this big beautiful hotel for $250 a night, which this isn't the one. Where's this one at. Do you know of any with the 2 amenities of Breakfast and Shuttle closer to Disney? I appreciate the guidance you have already given!
Where did you find the rate for Rosen Centre for that price range? I need somewhere in this range that has Comp. Breakfast and shuttle service to Disney. Nothing good is showing up in the zones near Disney, so I went in this direction.
No, just 1 room. I submitted it as 3 Adults and 1 child.
I need help identifying a hotel for a family member. It's listed as a 3* for $89 a night in the Universal Orlando Area for the dates of 3/29/07-4/3/07. The following amenities are listed:

Business Center
Laundry Facilities
High Speed Internet
I received an interesting e-mail the other day on this property. They have now downgraded this hotel to a 2.5 star and offered me a refund which I gladly accepted. I won this for 1 night and was not impressed so I went a different route with my dates and basically 'ate" this night, then this e-mail came thru. I got lucky!

When asking for the rate, you don't give them any info. It's just a courteous rate.
I just finished completing my plans for the dates listed. I decided not to chance it so I went a different route. I hope I'm not breaking rules with this info but what I did was, a friend of mine who works for the Hilton chain said to find a hotel in the Hilton family in the area that I would be interested in and call them and check to see if they have a "Friends and Family rate". I did this with The Homewood Suites on American Way and the one on International Drive in the Seaworld/Universal area which happens to be rated #1 & #2 by Trip Advisor. They both were able, due to availability ,give me the special rate of $79. One of the two Homewood Suites has shown up here before after looking at the prior posts but it has been awhile. I'm still going to continue to keep a close look on the boards to see if it shows up again because I can still cancel up to 24 hours prior to my reservation. I hope this was helpful.
This is a continuation of our trip from a prior post but in a new area. I need help identifying a 3 star hotel in the Univeral Orlando & Seaworld Area for the dates of April 18-24, 2007 for the price of $54. The following amentities are listed:
Fitness Center

High-Speed Internet Access
I went ahead and did what you suggested with the different days and it showed up each time. I then went ahead and booked 1 night and the "Lake Suites Hotel" came up. I'm not impressed with the reveiws nor the info for the hotel from various sites, so I'll wait and try something else.

3* Pittsburgh (Airport PIT) Embassy Suites
in Priceline Hotels - Pennsylvania
Posted
Started my bidding at $40 for a 3 star hotel in the (Airport PIT) zone for 2 rooms on the dates of Feb. 1-2, 2008. Priceline came back with a counter offer of an additional $15 which I refused. I then added (West Mifflin-West Homestead) zone for $1 more to $41 and won the Embassy Suites. Couldn't ask for anything better for a group of girls, my daughters Girl Scout troop, a pool and a free breakfast!
