I started my bid only for the LAX zone, 4 star, bid of $45. It was rejected but gave me a counteroffer for $58. Instead of taking the counteroffer, I started adding zones that I knew had no 4 star hotels. I then raised my bid to $48. Rejected. Added another zone and raised my bid to $50. Rejected again. Added the final zone that had no 4 star hotels and raised my bid to $53 and it was accepted. I am so happy I found this website. It was my first ever try at Priceline and I feel really good about my experience. :)
