Right downtown-convention center is the hilton, I had chosen downtown-convention center and FQ as possible locations as I didn't really mind being in either.

Bid $55 downtown/frenchquarter four star priceline countered for an additional $17, added metairie and bid $65 and got Hilton Riverside, a double bed. Called and asked for a king and a room in the nicer portion of the hotel, and idea how often they honor those requests? Should be a nice friday night in New Orleans.
