  1. dszklarek Just to clarify before we start. Are your dates 4/11-4/20 or 4/13-4/20? And you're ok with booking one bed only. And then deal with the hotel later? yellowdog.
  2. Welcome to BetterBidding! Can you please post your date(s) for the stay. And how adults/children/rooms you have searched at. Yellowdog.
  3. I got the hotel with your listed amenties to apper. Sorry to say that this hotel has not been reported to the board. And I can't make a good guess on this one. I had a few options but i can't get them comfirmed. But it shows a TA rating at 4/5 with 40 reviews. So it's pretty safe to book if you ask me! Is I-Drive North the only zone you're willing to stay in? Yellowdog.
  4. Congratulations on your success :) Please use the site's HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links to start future purchases. yellowdog
  5. Hello nyfirefly11! I took a look at this. And yes, they have downgraded the Westin to 4* and the Resort option is gone for the moment. I have had my thoughts about this zone since I belive there is a new 4* also. I'm going simular dates to you so I have looked really close at this zone. So don't go with PRICELINE if you don't accept the Crown Plaza(nice hotel but not on the beach) or any other unknown hotel. Have you looked at HOTWIRE? Yellowdog.
  6. Welcome to the site :) Thank you for sharing your win with the board and please use the site's HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links to start future purchases. Yellowdog.
  7. I think that would be very risky to do a thing like that! PRICELINE can add hotels any second to any zone. Please post your details for you stay so the board can take a look at it. Yellowdog.
  8. uvasag My best gues for this hotel would be Days Hotel Main Gate. Don't go under 2.5* in this zone. Please use the boards HOTWIRE link if you decide to go for this hotel. Yellowdog.
  9. The 4.5-star hotel in West of Strip is a match for Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa. So that would be my best guess. The 3.5 star Near Strip East is a bit harder to ID. But I belive this is the Hilton. Amenities match and the TA rating match. And admin has made a comment about a possible downgrade in the hotel list. So I belive this is the Hilton. If you're looking for a nice cheaper hotel outside the stip area is the 4* South Point in the "near strip south" zone a very nice hotel. Please use the boards HOTWIRE link if you decide to go for any of the hotels. Yellowdog.
  10. Welcome to BetterBidding! Would you like to go with PRICELINE or HOTWIRE for you stay? If your budget is thight would i suggest PRICELINE. I belive you're in the range for a 3* hotel. Take a look at this link I've never used Priceline or Hotwire and post back with your thoughts. Yellowdog.
  11. Congratulations on your success! Thanx for sharing your results with the board and for using the boards PRICELINE link for your bidding :) Yellowdog.
  12. I might be slow, but are going to Canada or California? Please update your Hotwire Vancouver stay and then bump this. Yellowdog.
  13. dszklarek take it easy and don't start bidding on PRICELINE if you trying to avoid some hotels. You must be willing to accept any of the hotels in the zone you're bidding at, inc the Hilton. The best option for you is to go with HOTWIRE for the moment. With some luck can i help you to single out Omni or Gaylord Palms or the Hyatt on HOTWIRE. But I need to know how many rooms you need and how big your party is. Yellowdog.
  14. Welcome to BetterBidding! This hotel has not been reported to the board before. And we have also tried to ID this hotel no so long ago without any luck. I gave this a new chance today but I'm sorry to say that I can't crack this. But the TripAdvisor rating is 4/5 with 20 reviews so I would say it's pretty safe to go for it if it fits your needs. A hotel I can think of is the Candlewood Suites in downtown, it fits the amenities well. But that is just a guess from me. Let us know if you need any further help. Please us the boards HOTWIRE link if you decide to go for the hotel. Yellowdog.
  15. Keith G Are you going to Busch Gardens? I can see a 3*, $51, W/breakfast in Tampa East - Brandon when searching HOTWIRE for 4 adults at your dates. It's a short drive to BG. Yellowdog.
  16. Welcome to BetterBidding :) I can't get the same hotel to appear to appear on HOTWIRE. 1)How many rooms/adults/children did you search for? 2)Is it the complimentary breakfast you're after? 3) Do you see any TripAdvisor rating on the second HOTWIRE page (click conntinue for hotel details) to right of the area map? Yellowdog.
  17. Please follow-up your previous Hotwire Orlando thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay... then bump this thread and we'll have a look at the above. Yellowdog. PS. Please allways follow-up your threads :) , even if not going!
  18. Welcome to betterBidding and congratulations on your success! Can you please post the name of the hotel you got? Yellowdog.
  19. Please follow-up your previous Hotwire Portland thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay... then bump this thread and we'll have a look at the above. Yellowdog.
  20. The HOTWIRE hotel is not any of the All Star hotels so there is no need to ID this if you're only looking for Disney hotels. If you use PRICELINE must you be willing to accept ANY of the reported or a new hotel within the zone for LBV-DTD. The shuttle service is pretty frequent at all DTD hotels. If you don't like the hotels shuttle service just go down to the Disney marketplace and use the shuttles at the terminal. 1) Is Hilton the only hotel you're willing to stay at? 2) if yes to above, what is the best pre-paid rate for your stay? 3) is it the "extra magic hours" you're looking for? Yellowdog.
  21. Yes, the add a night offer is a one-off thing. Once you tried to extend your stay is the offer gone, success or not. You can try this offer until 11am on the day of check-out provided the hotel allows same-day booking. Otherwise is the deadline midnight the night before check-out. Hope this helps. Yellowdog.
  22. Welcome to BetterBidding and congratulations on your success :) Thanx for sharing your results with the board and for using the boards PRICELINE link for your bidding Great that you find the board usefull and we hope to see you in the future! Enjoy you stay! Yellowdog.
  23. Welcome to BetterBidding :) It's not an easy task to ID 4* and 5* hotels in Las Vegas for the moment! HOTWIRE use many diffrent amentie combos. The amenitie combo for the 5* is reported for both Wynn and Palazzo. But the frequency for Palazzo is pretty low and Wynn is the more frequent hotel for the moment. also the Venetian could be a possibility But my best guess for the 5* would be the Wynn. I had to change the search to 4 adults (same price) to get any clues for the 4* hotel. So my best guess for this would be Treasure Island I'm sorry for the vague answer for the 5*. But maybe admin can help us to narrow down the answer. But you have a pleasant problem :) So, we hope to se you as a posting member at the board in the future since you are a HOTWIRE user! Please use the boards HOTWIRE link if you decide to go for any of the hotels. Yellowdog.
  24. uvasag I'm with thereuare on this one. I belive this is the Seralago Hotel and Suites. This is a nice hotel for kids. Separate kids pool, free breakfast with paying adult. And yes, the have a shuttle for Disney. Hotel is very close to the Disney area. And is located next to Old Town. You have plenty of restaurants around you. For transportation from airport is Mears in Orlando good for your big party. Please use boards HOTWIRE link if you decide to book this hotel. Have fun with Mickey! YellowDog.
