  1. Yeah ... I got the message ... loud and clear. well just keep cranking up the price $10 at time until I hit for below $300 which is about what the normal reservation prices are. I was reading in the forums for the NYC area and someone else was able to bin $155 for 4* in the MTE, MTW, UPC area and got the Hyatt. I would think with my latest bid of that area at $170 would be in the ball park for the very next day?!?!
  2. Tried: 4* NYC Bid $130 on UM CPS ... Rejected Bid $140 added MTW ... Rejected Bid $150 added MTE ... Rejected Bid $160 added UPE ... Rejected Bid $170 added UPW ... Rejected
  3. Okay tried 1/8/07 4* NYC Bid $135 for MTW Bid $145 for MTW & MTE Bid $155 for MTW & MTE & UPW Bid $165 for MTW & MTE & UPE ALL REJECTED. Will try again.
  4. are the two zones for adding you are talking about UPE and UPW? I just did the following 4* MTW Big $120 ... Rejected Bid $125 ... Added MTE ... Rejected Bid $130 ... Added UPC ... Rejected locked now from just bidding on MTE Will try again tomorrow.
  5. Clicked on PRICELINE link through savingsbarn.com 4* in Detroit DTW Bid $85, do to the $80 bid rejected the day before ... REJECTED Bid $95, added Taylor to the zone ... REJECTED Bid $105, added Downtown Detroit to the zone ... ACCEPTED Taylor and Downtown don't have 4* hotels!!! I am booked for 2/12/07 at the Westin DTW for $105 w/o taxes I know others have done better, but I couldn't seem to get there. FYI the government rate was $115 so I guess I save myself $10 Thanks Thereuare and savingsbarn.com
  6. why is it so expensive ... it isn't the 14th of February? Anyway I guess I am looking at no more than 175 for the night. Hopefully after my next two business trips over the next 2 weeks I'll have enough Hilton Honors points. Anyway, what is your suggestion... seeing that you reside in Hoboken?
