1. Bid $225 4* French Quarters and downtown - rejected Also had tried up to $175 in French Quarter for 3* - rejected bid $240 French Quarters, Downtown, Convention and got this. A little disappointed. The website for Sheraton shows rooms 1/2 -1/4 at $207 per night. The only difference is I also got 1/1 which they show sold out. Happy to have somewhere but don't think I got a great deal on Priceline this time. Did use the PRICELINE link from betterbidding

5. Sheraton - Clayton 7/4/10 - 7/5/10 Bid $45 for 2 rooms Area: Downtown 4* Rejected Bid $45 for 2 rooms. Areas: Downtown, Clayton 3.5 * Offer accepted. Used PRICELINE link to bid. I called and self parking is $14. Happy with results!
6. I plan to bid on PRICELINE (through bb link) for St. Louis July 4th, 1 night, 2 rooms. I have bid downtown in the past and always got the Hyatt Arch for under $50 and really like the hotel and its location. However, I'm wondering if I should consider the Forest Park - Clayton area instead. We plan to go to the Arch, the Children's Museum, the City Museum and maybe the Zoo so we'll kind of be all over the place. 2 specific questions. 1. Do most of the hotels in the Forest park area charge parking (downtown it was $19 a night which added significantly to my $40 room) 2. Anyone like the Forest Park area more than downtown? Any input is appreciated! My budget would be $60 per room for a 3 star or above. I'm not really that picky on which hotel as I've always been pleased wiht PRICELINE stays. Andrea
7. Bid once $75 - N. Michigan Ave 4* for Sunday 6/13 Offer accepted on first bid. The Drake North Michigan Ave - River North Area 140 East Walton Place Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $75.00 Subtotal: $75.00 Taxes & Fees: $18.98 Total Charges*: $93.98
8. Started bidding at $50, had to go up to $90 before it was accepted (went up in $5 increments but accidently skipped $85). This is Rose Festival weekend and the only area I tried was Downtown. Placed my bid though better bidding PRICELINE link.
9. Hyatt Regency St. Louis Riverfront - 3* Bid $40 - Accepted on first bid 4/11 to 4/13 Only bad thing is parking is $16 a night, but I guess that's typical downtown. Note - I didn't see this hotel listed on the PRICELINE list on this site.
10. 4* Hyatt O'hare 6/29 - 7/2 First bid $48 - accepted I tried for 3 days to get something downtown. Tried up to $85 for a 4* in Loop & N. Michigan - declined. Tried various other combos including up to $65 for 2*, same areas - declined. Added Greater Chicago, $60 for 2* - declined. Tried Midway Airport - up to $55 for a 2 * - declined. Was looking for something cheap and I'm glad this finally worked. Thanks for the tip.
11. Used SB link. Bid $75 for 4* in NMA - accepted Wyndam Chicago Downtown. Guess I could of started out lower, but after reading the reviews I'm very happy with the result. Hotel was listed for $175 on Expedia.
