  2. IN addition...just checked the hotel directly...$149 web rate to start. Went as high as $360!
  3. Unsure what I was going to get for $79 for a 3 star hotel thru Hotels.com. There is no hotel list for the downtown area, so maybe this will help. $79 for a one night stay Thurs-Fri on short notice. Linked thru this site! Thanks!
  4. Visiting the Anaheim Convention Center in early June and was hoping for a successful bid and stay at the Anaheim Marriott. Started bidding at $50, then $60, then it said it may have something for $77. I bit and are staying here. Still alot of savings! Used your links to make the transaction.
  5. New to the site and I can tell its going to be an invaluable resource for my travel plans. First use was to Savannah, GA. I have traveled here many times and usually stay way out on Abercorn, 10-15 minutes from the historic district at a 1-2 star hotel. For the same price I stayed at the newely renovated Hyatt right there on River Street! What a treat. Looking forward to many more posts and thanks again everyone! Ryan
  6. Could not get your rate, but did manage to get the same at $85. Great location, right on River and Bay Streets. Thanks for info.
  7. Preferred is $350-400 for this paticular weekend. Online: W - $385 Inter-Continental - $345 Millenium - $359 Grand Hyatt - $325 Amenities: Prefere a king bed, no spa needed, standard room. More importantly, we are near Times Square or Midtown.
  8. Hello. I am new to the forum and Hotwire for that matter. We are looking to travel to New York Dec 15-18. Its a big weekend as its the weekend prior to Christmas. I want to stay in a 4* and higher hotel. Hotwire only has 4*+ in Midtown East available. I looked at the list of hotels from this site and it looks like it should be one of the following... The Drake Grand Hyatt Inter-Continental Omni W I would be happy with any of them. My total charge would be over $1,000, so I want to make sure I do this right and do the proper research. So being a first timer to both this forum and Hotwire, am I safe? (I know there are no guarantees). Thanks for any help! Ryan
