I have not bid on a hotel room in over two years, but have an upcoming trip in September to the Washington, DC. area. As usual, I always come to this board for starting info. My dates are Sept. 11 - 13th (2 nights, a Fri/Sat) so I have a little time to prepare. I'm looking specifically at the Arlington, VA area as I think there are some great deals to be had and to be close to the city. I need to be near mass transit as I'm attending a concert Saturday night and need to be able to get in and out easily. As a backup, I've booked a Hilton in McLean/Tyson's Corner for $80/nite - fully refundable. After checking Priceline Express Deals, I'm noticing a 4 star hotel with Restaurant, Free Internet, and Fitness Center for $61/nite (was $58 yesterday). I believe this is the Hyatt Arlington. It's a great deal even once you add parking in for $23/day. I'm wondering if I should try and do a "Name Your Own Price" bid vs. purchasing this deal? Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks, Roger
