I am pretty sure you can go to $16 for a Fullsize but this was my first try and I accidentally clicked midsize. I know you CANNOT get a Fullsize here for $14 though. 15 maybe. You can get a KIA or PT cruise at this location. I suggest the KIA if you are looking for more luggage room. Enjoy. LTP

I think you misunderstood my question... Has anyone had any success with bidding for rental cars when your drop off is a different location than your pick up?

I was wondering if anyone has tried and had success with putting different drop off locations in on Priceline. Do you have to raise your price to make up for the drop off fee that you would be avoiding by using priceline? Or is there an additional drop off fee? Or are you escaping the drop off fee :) Thanks, LTP

Title says it all. New Orleans Airport(MSY) Hertz Full size for 20$ I got a Taurus and DO NOT take the GPS system add on for 10 bucks or something, every car has it in it so they are just trying to squeeze something extra out of you :) This was just a first bid so you might be able to do better, but I has to hit. I usually get 15-18$ cars in the fullsize range. Regards, LTP

There was another post a few months ago about this hotel and I got the same rate. Excellent Beds, outdoor rooms though so if you like indoor hotels you might want another selection. It was a little hectic on Friday and Sat due to family soccer teams(kids), but nothing that would keep me from staying here. I recommend this place. Not a lot of TV stations, but good beds and shower. The super 8 down the street goes for 40$ and has a shit load of stations(7 HBO's 80 stations, etc.) Best Wishes, LTP

I start traveling pretty soon so here comes my first post of the 07 year! I am not real proud of this priceline hit, but nonetheless I am saving money... I usually get retal cars(fullsize) for under $20, but not this time... I was shut down at $20/day at LAX and they let me redo my price, I raised it to $25 and I got accepted. One day rental car at LAX on Feb 7th-8th 2007 for $25/day. Total with tax $34.06 :) Enjoy! LTP

For my last post I just re entered a search and got the same hotel info, but for this one I am not sure it is the same hotel when I do that, b/c it states it had a breakfast, which it did not. NICE forum, so glad I found this site. Wish I had know about it earlier this year since I travel so much. I could have added a lot of stays to this website :o Oh well here goes my first post :) Just stayed at Miami, Fl Airport 3 star Got the Embassy Suites for 56$ "Customer Favorite" AWESOME HOTEL...HUGE Rooms, and I mean huge. Two sides of the room, one has two beds in it with a tv and a sink(not sure why) the other room has 2 chairs, couch, table, and tv. I could have fit 4 airbeds in this puppy if I had a lot of people traveling with me. Parking is 9$/ day :) Free cocktails from like 4-7 :) Enjoy Lovethepirk
