  1. 103/night on PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal Only showed: Free Internet Name your own, tried 90/night for 4 star and above and did not get anything. 103/night for Labor Day weekend did not sound like a bad price and just went Express Deal. Used the PRICELINE link on this website.
  2. Not a bad deal for last minute room. Used PRICELINE link on this site to get room. Tally is not a place to find good deals. Not enough inventory. This is about best you can get for 3 star. Bid 55 on first bid, then added extra zone and won on 2nd attempt. Not many 3 starts makes it easy to bid more than once.
  3. Bid for 2.5 star at 30, did not win. Raised bid to 31.00, added one more area. Won a 3 star. More choices for 3 star in this area. Hotwire also had room for 31.00 for 3 star, but usually PRICELINE 3 star is a little better room and tried them first. If I would not have won, I would have picked the HOTWIRE room for same dates. Holiday Inn Main Gate East Disney Maingate - Celebration 5711 West Irlo Bronson Mem Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34746 15 dollars in taxes for 2 nights 77 total Used the PRICELINE link on this website for purchase. Holiday Inn Main Gate East Disney Maingate - Celebration 5711 West Irlo Bronson Mem Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34746
  4. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $57.00 Subtotal: $57.00 Taxes & Fees: $14.30 Total Charges*: $71.30 Tried Bluffton first at 50.00/night, did not win. Added Hilton Head and stayed at 2.5 Stars, (only available option for both areas). Did not want resort for one night and pay resort fees. Went to 57.00 and won. Looked like same hotel was 70.00/night on PRICELINE with 95% customer satisfaction. Used the PRICELINE link on this website for offer. Hotel website is showing 99.95/night.
  5. Used the PRICELINE link on this page for bidding. 1st bid was 50.00 and accepted. Was not sure which hotel because 3.5 stars not listed. Pretty good deal. Sheraton Jacksonville Hotel Jacksonville Southpoint - Butler Blvd 10605 Deerwood Park Blvd Jacksonville, Florida 32256 Sat, Jun 4, 2011 / After 03:00 PM Check-Out Date: Sun, Jun 5, 2011 / 12:00 PM Amenities:
  6. Used the PRICELINE link on this website. Your Offer Price: $66.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $66.00 Taxes and Fees: $15.50 Total Charges*: $81.50 Missed at 60.00 dollars, added another zone raised offer to 66 accepted. 4 start on HOTWIRE was 77/night.
  7. Used link on this website. 3/4/2011-3/6/2011 Orlando Lake Mary zone 3.5 Star Marriott 55.00/night 22 bucks in taxes and fees added. 1st bid was accepted, nice hotel have stayed at before.
  8. First bid win, was going to try 52.00, then changed to 55.00 night. HOTWIRE had 4 star for 69.00/night and went lower on PL because they usually grade out higher to me. Thinking I would get Grand Hyatt or Westin. Website price for these night is 209/night Florida Resident price was 119/night Good rate will give review if I have time later. Used the PRICELINE link on this website, thanks for the help with Maps. Nice feature. :)
  9. Just picked this up for short trip to Charleston. Used the HOTWIRE link on this website. Price on their website was 149/night. Tried 70/ night on PRICELINE and did not win. Then took this at 83.00 thinking it would be Mills House. Not bad for downtown location.
  10. Got it last Sat. night 12-15-2007 Listed as Customer Favorite $68.00 Their website was over 100 for that night. Nice hotel, close to Universal, little bit off I-Drive. It is a newer property. We have stayed there before when it was a 4 star property then. I had bid up to 75 for a 4 star on Priceline without getting a hit, then decided to just take the 68/night for a good hotel with this one on Hotwire. I was going to use a LaQuinta email for 20% that I had gotten earlier in the week. When I checked the room was going to be 47/night. When I checked on Sat. morning the room had went up to 63/night with the discount. That is when I went the PL/HW route. They must have filled the rooms to raise the prices that much in a couple of days. I used the HOTWIRE link on this site also.............
  11. She wanted to be close to Universal. Can not rebid with so many 3 stars in Orlando as easy as other areas. Trouble with spending the time over saving another 5 bucks. I bid a little high to make sure I had a winning bid. Leaving HHN at 2am in the morning and driving across Orlando was not a good option for 5 bucks.
  12. I knew the wife wanted to be close to Universal and did not want to play around with rebids and miss out. Looked around some and everything was a little on the high side this weekend on the regular sites. Overall a room under 50 bucks is not bad. I agree on Hotwire stars, usually on go with 3 or 4 stars on Hotwire. There rankings are a little low. This is the first time I dropped to 2.5 on Priceline. Usually stay at 3 and above with them also. If it is not worth 49, then I will go back to the higher rated properties. Almost thought about the 4 star for the Peabody for 99 that I seen someone won, but only in town for one night and will not be in the room much anyway with the Halloween Horror nights. Thanks for the response.
  13. Used Savings barn link. Tried 3 star at 45.00, did not win. Added 2.5 star and raised to 49.00 hoping to hit a 3 star. No luck and got a 2.5 star. Orlando Metropolita PRICELINE EXPRESS Hotel 6323 International Drive Orlando, Florida 32819 407-351-4430 Your Offer Price: $49.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $49.00 Taxes and Service Fees: $13.79 Total Charges*: $62.79 Second guessing I should have just taken the 2.5 star on Hotwire for 39.00. Have not seen this hotel listed on Priceline or Hotwire before. Their website price was only 69.00 making it a so so deal. Looks like Orlando is pretty full with Halloween Horror nights down there this weekend.
  14. Bid North Tally on first bid at 46, rejected. PL countered with 13 dollar raise for retry. Added South Tally and kept 2.5 Star. Won at 47.00 with a dollar raise. Courtyard By Marriott Tallahassee 1018 Appalachee Parkway Tallahassee, Florida 32301 850-222-8822 AAA rate on their website is 149/night. Not a bad deal. Used Savings Barn.com for the reservation. 7-24-07 One night :)
  15. Tried at 50 bucks with no luck. Added WDW and jumped to 72/night. I know a big jump and I usually crawl up, but went with the 22 dollar bump. Hotwire website best price was 83/night. Won the DoubleTree Castle on International Drive. Internet rate for them was 139/night. Not a bad deal, hard to get great deals in the middle of the summer.
  16. That place had good reviews. I just tried to book it for this weekend at 99/night. They stopped doing resv. at 8:30pm. They do not open until in the morning again. I was transferred to the front desk and she plugged me back into the automated mailbox. I found online that they are sold out this weekend, but I would hate to think someone at the front desk could not answer a simple question. LBV is right next to DD, you will be alright.
  17. Web Rate was 89.00 Best Available was 105.00 Half Price is good... :)
  18. Hit on First bid, Oct. 27,2006 to Oct. 29,2006 40.00/ night 98.00 total with taxes and fees Wyndham on International Drive. Have won a couple of times. Good room for the price. Close to Universal. Used SavingsBarn.com to purchase.
