I probably waited too long as I do not see the $177 for Priceline express

So I would like to start with a 4 star hotel and stay with Hollywood and West Hollywood - some of the rates per night seem cheap until checkout when that extra 150+ in taxes is thrown in there. For example, that five star hotel I mentioned is $215 a night, which I could do, but with taxes and whatnot, it brings total to $819. Also, do the HOTWIRE Hot Deals and PRICELINE EXPRESS deals tend to dip in price as the travel date becomes closer? Thanks, J

I am using the name your own price tool on Priceline and selecting West Hollywood from the Choose where you want to stay selection. The 5 star luxury option is then enabled. I am looking for max 200/night without taxes. Preferably the Roosevelt, Loews, W, etc. 4*+ hotels.

Priceline has a 5 star luxury hotel listed in West Hollywood for the Name Your Own Price tool, however, I do not see a 5 star hotel listed on this websites Priceline Hotel List. Any ideas? Date of travel: 3/9-3/12 Thanks, J
