And of course, compare to the Priceline express, this does not guarantee 2 double beds. And strangely, even if I lower the star class to 4*, the price is interestingly more expensive than the 5* of the same area.

Thanks for your reply. I am inclined to the 4.5* property as it does give the bed choice of 2 double beds as I wanted . Will be glad if it's Le Meridien too. My budget is around $300/night

Thanks a lot for your help. If I would like to try bidding on priceline, what shall i put as starting bid price? Do I have a choice to accept or not accept the hotel offer, if my bid was accepted by the hotel? Undecided between trying the priceline express and bidding.
