Hi,
Short-term lurker, first time poster. Just got into Hotwire/Priceline over the last couple of weeks with assistance reading these boards. (Thanks to all of the lovely people running this site!) I have actually booked awesome WDW hotels already using HW!
Anyway. Onto this one, from Hotwire.
5*, Orlando, FL, 8/24-8/25 2017, $156 USD/night, searching for 2 adults, and here is the full list of amenities using biddinghelper:
FULL AMENITIES: Resort, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services, Children's activities, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower
This is the "short" list just on HW's booking page:
Business center Fitness center Golf nearby Internet access Pool(s) Resort Restaurant(s) Self-service laundry Smoke-free rooms
I thought based on info on this site (and a little bit of outside research) that this might be the Waldorf Astoria Orlando.
However, when I go to book it reminds me of the $30 daily resort fee -- on Waldorf's website the resort fee is stated as $35, and when doing a transparent search for hotels on Hotwire, I can see Waldorf listed with a $35 resort fee. On other sites, too, the resort fee is $35.
Also, I have read from past visitors that Waldorf doesn't have self-service laundry, but it is listed as an amenity.
Thoughts??? What else could this be in that area? TIA.
