  1. I take that back, their pool is not that exciting
  2. OK I'm leaning towards pulling the trigger on planet Hollywood
  3. should i maybe wait a little longer and see if prices drop?
  4. yes, rates are high that weekend, there's a big boxing match going on. the only one I' consider is this one, but is this 100% planet hollywood? 4* The Strip - Central East for $220 Free Parking Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities ==> Planet Hollywood
  5. sorry last question. I see a lot of referencing to Priceline.com and people listing hotel amenities trying to guess what hotel it is. Does priceline tell you what you can get for a certain price point or can you book through the actual pricline link that shoes the amenities, but not the actual hotel? would that be cheaper then going through the bidding process?
  6. in the Southeast area, we wouldn't mind MGM, Elara, or The Signature, all minimum 4 stars, but then you have oldie but goodie tropicana sitting there at a 4 star as well, no idea why a 4 star for that hotel. So i'd be fine with 3 of the 4 four star hotels in that area. How do i make sure i don't get Tropicana? would making my starting bid higher guarantee that i dont?
  7. Hello, I've just been rejected twice by PRICELINE we're looking for a 5* hotel, would settle for a 4* if we have to Looking for center strip The first bid was for section 14 - Central West Strip. Min bid of $100 max bid of $150 selecting 5 star hotel.......REJECTED! (was targeting cesars palace or cosmopolitan) 2nd bid was for section 18 - Southwest. min bid of $150, max bid of $200 selecting 5 star hotel. REJECTED (was targeting aria or vdara) i'm not sure how to approach my 3rd attempt. Any ideas for this bidding rookie? This is my first time trying this. I wouldn't mind staying at the MGM which is a 4* hotel, but then i run the risk of getting the Tropicana which is also a 4* (how is tropicana a 4* wtf?) If i'm willing to pay to stay at say the MGM, how do i avoid not getting the Tropicana? Essentially we want a nice 4 or 5 star hotel, preferrable the bigger nicer casinos like MGM, Aria, Vdara, Cesars, Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn. My fear is getting stuck in a smaller casino hotel which we wont like. Greatly appreciate all and any help!
