Hi there need help identifying which hotel these are: Priceline $84 3.5* lake buena vista Free Parking Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Hotwire $99 3.5-star Resort in Disney Springs area Free Internet, Resort, Pet friendly, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry $20 resort fee could they be possibly the same hotel?

Does Hotwire have a Skype account? How can I call them for free using Skype. I thought you still have to pay skype if you call a landline through Skype right? For the Priceline deals I tried to pay via PayPal and via direct and both did not push through. For Hotwire I wil still trying the original 5* offer. Here's my theory - I have a feeling that maybe both the priceline 5* bonnet creek offer is the same hotel as hotwire's offer. Let's say they are the same hotel. And let's say it's the Waldorf. I think when we do press Pay Now, Price line and Hotwire, both go to waldorf's website or their system and checks if the room is available? And maybe Waldorf tell's them that rate or the room is not available anymore. So both transactions fail and are cancelled. This is probably too far fetched because I cannot imagine Waldorf allowing third party sites to view their database so I can be completely wrong. But how else could you explain these failed transaction for two separate websites offering a similar product? I just can't quite understand it. Until now they are both still offering the same deal. How long do they refresh their availability? Assuming it is not available.

Update: I have tried using hotwire's deals for the 5* bonnet creek. I have paid two times. the first time the transaction failed. The second time the transaction failed again but my credit card was charged by paypal. Then comes the frantic long distance call to hotwire. This is too much stress for me. Both priceline and hotwire will not accept my transaction after trying multiple times. At least priceline did not take money from my account. Has this happened before? Any advice on what to do? I'm already nervous about this process because it is the first time that I'm doing this and this situation is not helping.

Since I'm getting nowhere with 5* let's look at the 4* offers. if i purchase the hotwire deal, what are the chances of me getting 2 beds? or am i up to the mercy of the hotel on whatever they give me?

August 4 - 7 is not giving me the same 5* hotel at priceline express. There's no 5* at bonnet creek. Just one in lake buena vista.

tried priceline express again and still not letting me book.

got the email. replied to the email. Mine looks slightly different from yours. But the main thing is, I cannot click on the price because nothing happens when I do.

It's strange that you are saying you cannot search for that deal in priceline. I can still search it and find the $154 deal all the time. Even with a fresh regular search.

What do you mean on the next page? Is that not on the Book Now? I do see the 5* in bonnet creek, then i just see the book now button. Desktop, firefox. Let me try internet explorer

I must be blind. I'm using the bidding helper. In the Hotwire tab, when you say the next page you mean after clicking the Book Now button? All I see is the payment page asking for you payment. I don't see a place where you can select 2 beds. I can do I screenshot if that helps?

Help. There's something weird with priceline. I'm paying the 2 beds for $164 but it says Your purchase could not be completed We apologize for this inconvenience. Pricing and inventory changes often and the deal you selected is no longer available. Your payment method has not been charged. But the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal is still there when you search for it. I tried to pay twice already

Thanks for the advice. Where can you choose 2 beds in the HOTWIRE link? I'm unable to find it. I think I'll just go with the priceline express or hotwire deals to get the 2 beds.

Which is similar to the priceline express rate of $154 less the 5% discount. Any preference whether to choose priceline or hotwire? (assuming the same hotel)

This means I'm asking for bidding strategy advice. I'm seeing 17 rebid zones + disney bonnet creek. I've never done priceline before, I wonder if this is wise? Or should I just bite the bullet and get the priceline express? They are going to charge me $164 if I select 2 beds + the $30 mandatory resort fee, which now makes it $194 plus taxes, that's why I'm considering trying the name your price. On average how much cheaper are name your price vs priceline express (roughly)? Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the prompt reply! But I'm considering the Waldorf Astoria, and Name your price. For a 5* hotel in Bonnet Creek, any suggestions on what bid I should start with? I'm guessing the Waldorf is the only 5 star hotel in that area?
