we're a family of four, kids are 2 and 9, traveling to London from July 26th until July 29th. We're looking at 4-5* hotels in central London (zone 1 basically).

What I'm wondering is if I bid a low bid for 5 star hotel just for the sake of it, are there examples of people having such bids accepted?

Also we'd like to pay around 80-120USD before tax for a 4-5* hotel in that area.

I know of the double occupancy with Priceline but if it's possible to secure a good deal I'd be open to look into that.

All help is appreciated as I'm trying this for the first time.
