Trying to close this one out. I ended up not needing a hotel after all. Unfortunately I won't be able to confirm if it was indeed the Candlewood Suites Clearwater.

I did not end up booking the Hotwire St Petersburg Hotel so I don't have any info to add. Do you need me to post these same comments over there?
