  1. Hi! The dates of my stay are 10/14 - 10/18. Location : Downtown Montreal Amenities: Suite Fully Equipped Kitchen Smoke Free Rooms Complimentary Breakfast Daily Housekeeping Air Conditioning Restaurant Business Center Front Desk 24 Hour Front Desk Laundry Facilities High Speed Internet Boutique Condo I, of course, will use the links to purchase. I just cannot figure out what this would be. Thank you. :)
  2. I understand you may have wanted the Hilton because it has a casino. But, I honestly feel like you dodged a bullet. The Renaissance is a steal for that price. It's a great hotel with comfortable rooms, a nice lobby and nice staff. The rooms at the Hilton are not half as nice.
  3. I know this is a really old topic, but just wanted to update. The Warwick was a total dump. The lobby was teeny, tiny (even by NY standards). The room was AWFUL. The carpet was filthy and stained. The wallpaper was torn off all around the room. Lampshade was broken. Stains in ceiling. It is by no means a four star hotel as Priceline advertises it. The location is fine, but I would never, ever stay here again.
  4. I used the PRICELINE link here to score the FireSky for $80 per night. Subtotal: $160.00 Taxes & Fees: $31.96 Total Charges*: $191.96 I am very happy with my success as I really like the Kimpton chain. It took me *many* bids to get this hotel though. I went through every single zone. I was on my last available bid for today and then won this one. I am assuming it's a busy time in the area because of the nice weather and spring training? I really have no idea. Thanks for all your hard work!
  5. You are right - it is near strip south. I always use the links here. :)
  6. Please:) The dates are May 5 through May 9th. I am seeing a four star hotel on Hotwire for $63 with the following amenities: Resort Fitness Center Pool Restaurant Laundry Internet Kitchenette Spa I am thinking it may be the MGM Signature Suites? But maybe those suites have a casino? I am too lazy too look right now as it's been a long day at the Grand Canyon hiking. I wish I could have used Priceline for this hotel. :) Any ideas what the above may be?
  7. Well, let me say that I am hotel spoiled, especially because we've been in a recession these last few years. I, like many other people here, have been able to score super cheap rooms at ultra low rates thanks to this board and other websites. I've been able to stay at places like the James in Chicago, Iron Horse in Milwaukee and many lux Kimpton hotels for less than $100 per night. Can you see a trend here? I'm spoiled and cheap! :) Hey, thank you so much for the chicken and rice car reminder. I LOVE food carts. Something I really dislike about Chicago is that they aren't allowed here. We have the tamale guy but that's it. Thanks again for providing such a valuable resource to the public. I have gained so much from reading here. I will continue to use your links in the future.
  8. Just wanted to add this that is a great deal for that time of year in Chicago, especially because Embassy Suites includes breakfast. It's a lovely hotel in a fantastic location. There's one of the best movie theatres in the city right next to the hotel along with a Walgreens.
  9. Number of Nights: 4 Room Subtotal: $540.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $119.20 (USD) Total Room Cost: $659.20 (USD) Warwick New York 65 West 54Th Street At Avenue Of Americas New York, NY 10019 Check-In: Friday, March 5, 2010-03:00 PM Check-Out: Tuesday, March 9, 2010-12:00 PM UGH! This is the one hotel that I did not want to win. I'm pretty annoyed with myself considering I know how to use these boards to my advantage. Personally, I think I way overpaid for this hotel during this time period. However, I'm trying not to get completely silly about it considering how much I've saved over the years using PRICELINE, HOTWIRE and these boards. My lesson for everyone is bid low, low, low! It could be worse though. At least the Warwick is an amazing location and is unique. I used the PRICELINE link here to start my bidding. :)
  10. New Orleans Airport (MSY) 2150 Veterans Memorial Blvd Kenner, Louisiana 70062 Check in 1/12. Checkout 1/13. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $40.00 Subtotal: $40.00 Taxes & Fees: $13.58 Total Charges*: $53.58 I bid a bit high for this room, because my mom and brother are on the road right now. They need a room for tonight. They needed a room near I-10 for tonight. I didn't want to play with bidding too much or rather, didn't have the option of manipulating the bids.
  11. Radisson Hotel Austin North 3 Star Austin Central 6000 Middle Fiskville Road Austin, Texas 78752 Check-In Date: Wed, Jan 13, 2010 / After 03:00 PM Check-Out Date: Sat, Jan 16, 2010 / 12:00 PM Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $40.00 Subtotal: $120.00 Taxes & Fees: $26.64 Total Charges*: $146.64 I bid through the PRICELINE link here. I probably could have won this hotel for a bit cheaper but I'm pretty happy with the win. Thanks so much for providing this site.
  12. I've stayed at this property. It is definitely NOT a resort. For the price you paid, I'd say it's just fine but it's nowhere near the rating of other Crowne Plaza hotels. It's on this weird access road. It's close to downtown via car but not really walkable because there's a highway between downtown and the hotel. I'd stay here again but only if I scored a good win via Priceline. It is very clean and it was quiet when I was there.
  13. Hi! Could someone please help me identify this hotel? It is a 3.5 star hotel in Bloomington West. The icons are Shuttle Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Center Internet Laundry Golf It's the golf icon that is throwing me off. All the other icons are listed with Sheraton with the exception of the golf.
  14. I would be VERY suspect of finding any Wicked ticket selling for less than $75-$100. I've been twice in the last two years. Those tickets were very difficult to come by. This show continues to be sold out. I cannot make a determination of the legitimacy of those tickets but I wouldn't personally purchase them.
  15. You asked about the Hotel Allegro. I used to live a few blocks from there and would arrange accomodations there frequently. If you like Kimpton hotels, you'll like the Allegro. It's not nearly as nice as the Burnham or Monaco but it's nice nonetheless. The rooms are a bit small, but the hotel and the furnishings are very, very clean. As far as location goes, there's not much around there (or anywhere in the Loop) at night but it is safe and a quick and easy cab/El/bus ride to Michigan Avenue or the other touristy areas of downtown. I think $92 is a great rate for that hotel.
  16. Bid $50 on 3* Asheville. Won the Crowne Plaza on the first try. I don't love the hotel but I was more than satisfied with the price. Room is twice as much on their website.
