Ended up doing it and got the Grand Hyatt! The thing that made me think it was going to be Grand Hyatt was the Resort Fee as Grand Hyatt is $50 for two nights and Thompson would be $58. I booked using the PRICELINE link provided. Very excited for this hotel and this trip! Thanks to Betterbidding and biddinghelper for saving me money and peace of mind in having great insight as to what the hotel could be before purchasing!

Just booked 2 nights via HOTWIRE for a 4* Cancun Hotel Zone South hotel for 4/1-4/3. The price was just too good to pass up! Ended up getting the Westin Resort and Spa. I figured it would be the Westin before booking. Overall, pleased with what I ended up getting, especially at that price point! 85% recommended. Regular price via Hotwire is going for $184/nt ($437 with taxes and fees) and I got it for $79/nt ($200.12 with taxes and fees). Hi, I am looking to book a hotel for 4/3-4/5 in the PDC area. PRICELINE has it at $186/nt and according to BiddingHelper.com, it could be a whole list of options. First two options are: thompson playa del carmen and grand hyatt playa del carmen resort. Following amenities listed: Business Center Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities rating: 9.0+ Resort Fee: $50.00 Any idea which it could be or is it just a gamble at this point?
