  1. Thanks. $185+tax for the refundable, $164+tax non-refundable. That is kind of expensive. I am sure that I will figure out how to find something cheaper. That is why I was hoping to score a good deal on "hot rates" hotels using this site's HOTWIRE link. Otherwise, there are plenty of other options.
  2. Thanks. I am looking for a low budget option for 2 adults + 2 kids. Don't have a specific number in mind. But something cheap, no frills, but clean, i.e. safe and clean place to sleep, but nothing more than that. It will be our first time in Venice (and Venice will be our first stop on Venice-Florence-Rome trip) and from what I've read, in Venice it is better to stay in a central location.
  3. Do you mind sharing what hotel have you decided to select for your trip to Venice? I am currently looking for hotel in Venice for our Oct. trip (as you could see in the thread that I've just started). Thanks.
  4. I am looking for a hotel to stay in Venice. 2 adults, 2 kids (10, 14). Because of kids, I can't use PRICELINE. HOTWIRE options are below: Area: San Marco - Dorsoduro FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Internet access, Kitchenette Price: $115 / night Star: 4* Area: San Marco - Dorsoduro FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Internet access, Children's activities Price: $136 / night Star: 3* Area: Cannaregio FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Internet access Price: $137 / night Star: 3* Please help me to ID these hotels. Thanks. 4* looks like a steal, unless hotwire is not using a correct rating...
