  1. First bid at $55 was accepted. There's a conference going on at the same time, so I wagered a few more bucks on the bid. You could probably get it at the $45 price it's been lately. You guys rock! You just saved me $550 over what Hyatt insisted on its webpage it was going to charge. Anyone else going through Better Bidding to get your hotel for the ISA conference? 4*, Hyatt Regency Chicago Chicago (Loop, etc.) Check-In Date: Feb 28, 2007 Check-Out Date: Mar 04, 2007 Your Offer Price: $55.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 4 Subtotal: $220 Taxes and Service Fees: $43 Total Charges: $263
  2. Here's another one for you to add to the MA list: 3* Holiday Inn in Tewksbury for $62 for 9/21. With taxes, etc., total is $140 (got two rooms). Cheapest rate (w/AAA discount) on the site is $117. Amenities listed were fitness center, pool, restaurant, high-speed internet. APPARENTLY THIS IS A CHANGE FROM THE STAYBRIDGE 3-STAR THAT HOTWIRE HAD LISTED IN THE AREA CIRCA THE 2004 HOTELS LIST FOR HOTWIRE. :) I'm a bit bummed by that, as the HI looks to have had MUCH less upkeep than the Staybridge.
