  1. You were right, thereuare, the "deal" disappeared from view (the price actually went up considerably). Just goes to show how you need to jump on these deals pretty much as soon as you see them...We're going to vote on a pick this weekend, so hopefully we can find another great deal. I think I found another deal. Again, due to the need for having two beds in the room, that takes precedence over almost anything. Not sure if this deal was posted already or not, but anywho....here goes: 4.5* PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal Hotel and Casino located on the Northwest area of Las Vegas Strip. Free Internet Business Center Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Price is $120/night Nights: 3 Rooms: 2 Subtotal: $720.00 Taxes/Fees: $137.604 Additional Mandatory Fee: $238.08 Total: $1,059.72 My best guess is the Mirage, mostly due to the area and star rating. Sorry if this may seem obvious, but I'm still new at navigating the website and want to have a rough idea of where we'd be staying.
  2. I have heard great things about the Palazzo from someone I know that goes to Vegas frequently. And due to the size of our party (it is a bachelor party weekend after all), two beds per room is most definitely desirable. Worst case scenario would be getting an awesome deal for a great hotel, but only having one bed in the room; if one of the options says "Two queen beds" does that mean that you are guaranteed 2 queen beds? Or does it go by similar rules as "Run of the house" on a hotel availability basis? Some hotels are great for accommodating their guests, but I don't want to take that chance. As far as budget goes, I think it's pretty flexible. We won't be staying at something crazy expensive like Mandalay Bay or Delano, but also not trying to go for bottom of the barrel places like Circus Circus or Stratosphere. I'm still getting word on the preferred hotel reservation (I am technically the designated "travel agent"), but I'm really pushing to do the PRICELINE EXPRESS deals for the group since it is so much cheaper than a traditional reservation! Stay tuned for more information, the trip isn't until May. But we'll be making a decision some time this upcoming week. Thanks again for your help!
  3. Hello, first time posting to this forum after being a frequent lurker for months...Going to be in Las Vegas for my friend's bachelor party from 5/11-5/14. The Priceline Express Deal is as follows: 4.5* PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal Hotel and Casino located on the Central West part of Las Vegas Strip. Free Parking Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Price is $119/night Nights: 3 Rooms: 2 Subtotal: $714.00 Taxes/Fees: $135.60 Additional Mandatory Fee: $217.68 Total: $1,067.28 The checkout window has a bed choice option, where it gives the option of one king bed or two queens and smoking-nonsmoking. One of the two queen options has "Palace Premium" in the title (full description of the room is a 2-Queen-Nonsmoking-Palace Premium). With that in mind, along with the location and star rating, I am guessing that it is Caesar's Palace. Feel free to comment for tips/suggestions. First time being in Vegas!
