We are going to the AC/DC concert at the Greensboro Coliseum on August 27th, and decided to get a cheap hotel instead of drive an hour back home.
There was a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for $50 for a 2.5* Greensboro west with amenities Pets Allowed, Free Parking, Business Center, Airport Shuttle, Free Internet, Free Breakfast, Swimming Pool, and Non-smoking. I assumed this would be the La Quinta, which is convenient and has good reviews. I originally bid $40, and was denied, then added Greensboro as an area, and bid $45 and was accepted. Good price for the night, and not having to worry about driving home after a hopefully great concert!
