  1. Thanks, I ended up just booking a hotel on a hotel website. I definitely needed parking for this trip
  2. I am coming from Boston. I have to pick my mom up at JFK on Dec 30th, her flights gets in at 9 AM. So I figure I would want to grab a hotel room for at least the night before (maybe 2 nights before and hang out in the city). However, I am unsure if it is possible to bid on a hotel and have it include parking of some sort. Is it worth trying to bid? Besides JFK, any other areas I should look that that should have parking. I don't mind taking the MTA into Manhattan. But I don't want to wake up super early to pick mom up at the airport.
  3. I think I will stick with the rate I have. I have looked at Phily's zones and only two, maybe 3 zones that are walking distance (20 min walk). So I am unsure if I would get a better rate with only 3 zones and using a bidding strategy Yeah I did book 2 months ago just as a just in case thing. Thanks!
  4. I currently have a room at the Westin near the Convention Center for $170 with my AAA discount.. I am wondering if I can get a better deal with Name your Own Price that is walking distance to the Convention Center? Can someone give me a nice bidding strategy to follow?
  5. First day few days didn't work. I kept the same plan but changed the starting bid.. I used the PriceLine link and got the Cambria HOtel and Suites New York Chelsea for $150
  6. Here you go, Thanks! Midtown East Grand Central Terminal - UN Times Square - Theatre District Upper East Side Midtown West - Hell's Kitchen Rockefeller Center - Bryant Park Madison Square Garden - Convention Area Central Park South Empire State Building Area Union Square - East Village Queensborough Bridge West Village - Meatpacking - NYU Chelsea Area SoHo - Tribeca Upper West Side Lower East Side - Chinatown
  7. It's been a while since I used PRICELINE bidding strategy. I am hoping to find a 3* or better hotel between Soho and Upper East/West Side for under $140/night. Can someone suggest a bidding strategy? I will spend most of my time around midtown/Hells Kitchen/Grand Central.. but of course with the MTA it is easy to get around NYC.
  8. So I want to do a last minute trip to NYC. I am wondering what are the odds on getting a 3*+ hotel in Manhattan (below Harlem) for $125-130ish? Anyone have a bidding strategy for me? I will be spending most of my time around Union Square. I do see a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal in the Wall Street Area for $163, but hoping for something cheaper.
