I think this one might be the Inn of Chicago? Thoughts?
I did not end up booking this through Hotwire but directly with Hotel Contessa.
$78 for 4/21-4/23
3* Magnificent Mile/Water Tower
FULL AMENITIES: Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Business center, In-room accessibility, Roll-in shower
The current list has a 3* in that area as 4 Points by Sheraton but it looks like that is now an AC by Marriott.
Thank you!
Also - today I see on that listing "Book soon! The last person got the Hotel Contessa."
I am going to debate the risk this weekend and will report back if I end up booking it but I am feeling confident having you agree with my assessment.
Looking at 5/12-5/15 travel to San Antonio and have found a 4* on the Riverwalk that I can't identify.
Amenities:
All Suite Hotel
Boutique hotel
Business center
Fitness center
Pet friendly
Pool(s)
Restaurant(s)
Smoke-free rooms
Listed right now at $171 a night. I'm tempted to think the Hotel Contessa has been downgraded a 1/2 of a star b/c there is also a resort fee. But I checked these same dates over the weekend and at that point in time there was a 4.5* all suite with the Hotel Contessa amenities. The prices seem right too. This weekend the Hotwire rate for the 4.5* all suite was $204 and regular prices on their site were around $230. Today the regular rate is $199.
4* Chicago (Downtown Chicago - Millennium Park) Hyatt Regency Chicago

Well I didn't end up booking this one. I've stayed there before, it's fine but I was hoping to get something a bit nicer for a similar price. So I decided to try my luck at priceline last night with no luck. Then today a 4* popped up in the RIverwalk/North Loop zone for $84/nt on Hotwire. I decided I'd go one more round on PRICELINE before booking it and landed the Hyatt Regency on Wacker for $77/nt. I assume that's the same hotel the Hotwire option would have been. Quite pleased that my indecision worked out.
