Thanks for the advice. At this time we have decided that we won't gamble with any amount of discount. I have booked the $578 refundable fare and will keep my eyes out for something better til the time of departure.
We are seniors (75). I think more things can go wrong for our age group. This $472 rate is very tempting but 3 months out is a long time for something to go wrong. How close to our travel date do you think we can get a good rate like this?
I have 3 months before I go to Dulles. Is it better to rent now or wait? Shall I bid? I am very new to traveling so could use any help. A search online showed prices from $472 (pay now/no refunds) and up.
