  1. Need help identifying the following hotel: $206 USD 4-star Boutique Hotel in Union Square East area Hotel details Complimentary Free Internet Amenities Business centerFitness centerPet friendlyRestaurant(s) Accessibility Accessible for visually impairedAccessible for hearing impairedAccessible path of travel Thanks in advance!
  2. Used HOTWIRE Amenities are: Hotel details Complimentary Free InternetFree parking Amenities Business centerCasinoFitness centerPool(s)ResortRestaurant(s)Suite
  3. Just booked and got the Palazzo bella suite (2 queen beds) for $283 AUD per night which converts to $215 USD. I'm pretty happy with that price given it's been fluctuating a lot the last few days and it's only 3 weeks away! I was hoping to get the Venetian and knew which listing it was but prices there were much higher which seems a bit unusual given various reviews - mostly the Palazzo seems to be higher! Won't really matter much as we'll be close by anyway! Thanks so much for your help, much appreciated :)
  4. Thanks Anandit. Soooo weird as I've been seeing the prices you are seeing today, for 3 days!! If we are all using HOTWIRE.com it shouldn't make any difference where in the world we are but I'm not IT expert so maybe it does!
  5. Did it give you a bed choice? I haven't seen bed choice since Thursday and I missed this deal unfort. Also, are you using a Canadian hotwire site?
  6. Got it Admin - I thought I had to keep priceline and hotwire separate. The $186 per night on priceline express is in USD, not AUD so I still don't know why I can't see it at the $158 USD you are seeing it at. No, there is no room choice on the priceline express. I was considering taking a punt when I got there as I know some of the 1 bed rooms in the Palazzo and Venetian also have sofa beds and you can request these so I was thinking if the "we need 2 beds" failed on check in then the back up was to ask for a sofa bed room. However I'm getting the feeling this may all be a bad idea?? I'm seeing what I'm pretty sure is the venetian for $211 USD with 2 beds (ie 2 adults and 2 kids) for my dates on hotwire now and I suspect it will prob not go lower now
  7. Thanks Anandit but unfort we are travelling from Australia so our dates are locked with the long haul flight from here
  8. Thanks Anandit. My problem is I'm there a Thurs, Frid and Sat nights. Hotwire isn't showing a deal as cheap as the $186 USD priceline express deal, rates are definately higher. I'm also converting into AUD but that should be about the same as your $. You def got a good deal! Unfort the hotels I've identified on hotwire which are palazzo or venetian which is where I want to be, don't have bed choice unless I enter 2 adults and 2 children and that is pushing the price right up to over $300 AUD.
  9. Hi Aaron, Yes I'm still seeing it! It says as follows: 5 Star Hotel in Las Vegas Strip North Area for $186/nightThis deal saves you 30% or more compared to similar hotels*Not what you're looking for? See more Express Deals. Area:You'll find spectacular gaming and shopping along the north end of the Strip, stone's throw north of Flamingo Road. The casinos along the strip offer great restaurants, exception... (Click to see full Description) Star Rating:What hotel is this? Guest Score:Rated 9.0 out of 10 (or higher) GUEST FAVORITE Guaranteed Amenities: Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Check In:Thu, Aug 04, 2016 Check Out:Sun, Aug 07, 2016 I'm wondering how you are seeing it for much cheaper?
  10. Need help with 4 August to 7 August at $186 per night. PRICELINE EXPRESS Aug 4-7 Amenities listed: Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Would this be Palazzo or Venetian or something else? Hotwire deals are not this cheap and I can figure out what the Palazzo and Venetian are there. Thanks in advance!
  11. Thanks Aaron. There is only 1 hotel with bedchoice and the choice is king bed or king bed so not helpful at all! The prices at my end are in AUD as I'm logging in from Australia so in conversion one of the 5* is $184 USD and the other $193, both of which are fine and I think are the Venetian and Palazzo. I don't have a set budget per se but the dollar conversion is 75 cents so even tho the above prices look cheap, in AUD they aren't. But I know I have to bit the bullet somewhere! I tried PRICELINE EXPRESS last night and they only have the 1 hotel with bedchoice too and it looks the same as the HOTWIRE one.
  12. Have just update the Maui stay, only booked recently. Look forward to your reply on the Vegas hotels above. Thanks in advance!
  13. We definately wanted the Whaler for this trip as the location was super important for elderly female relative not to walk far so we ended up booking a condo at the Whaler privately only 2 weeks ago. The cost works out to be around $338 USD so a bit more but it was the best option for us. Thanks for the info!
  14. Ah that makes sense, thank you! Yes I was looking through hotwire but it's obviously the weekend dates that's increased the prices.
  15. Noticed rates of $161 for two 5* hotels strip north this afternoon, both had bed choices, narrowed it down to Venetian and Palazzo (mostly from the bed choices and previous winners) so I'm 99% sure it was these 2 hotels. Was at work so thought would book when I got home tonight. Wrong! Now rate on one has gone up to $226, the other $185 and no bed choices available! I'm travelling with a female relative so we need our own beds. Questions: 1. Should I book now and hope for the best with bed choice when we arrive? (not my preference as we are travelling from Australia and don't want any dramas on arrival); 2. Should I hold out longer as the rates might drop? Very inexperienced with how this works but have seen mentions of conventions so not sure if that's what's happened in the last few hours to alter the rates or not and if we wait does that mean prices will increase rather than decrease! Also, preference is Venetian as relative is elderly so less walking but Palazzo would also be fine! Not keen on Trump, Wynn or Encore. Thanks so much in advance!!
  16. Hi, can I ask where you are seeing all these prices?? I'm looking at 5* for 4 August to 7 August and not seeing anything like these prices at all!
  17. Thanks for the info Admin. Apologies but as this is my first time on here I am not sure what you mean re the below: If you are meaning to just go ahead and book night 1 and see what happens, unfort due to cost with AUD at the moment I can't afford to lose the money if it ends up being somewhere else. I really want to stay at the Whaler. Do you know any way to definately get this hotel? I am travelling with elderly mother with health issues and limited walking capacity and we will spend most of our time at the whaler shops or snorkelling with the turtles, hence the location choice. Thanks in advance
  18. Help needed please on which hotel this is? 3.5* Kannapali, Maui 9 August to 14 August $222 USD FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Condo, Boutique hotel, Beachfront hotel, Fitness center, Pool(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa services On a HOTWIRE view the price is $304 AUD - details below - so the above is the closest I can find using hotwire easy view. It says the last person got the Aston at the Whaler. THIS IS THE HOTEL I WANT TO STAY AT so wondering if this is it? I'll be booking through hotwire as I want the AUD rate.
