Cheryl, The hotel is right off the expressway. It has a small fitness center and pool. Although we did not eat breakfast, I did check it out so I could report back for you, the breakfast included waffles, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, juice, etc... The hotel was nice enough. Our room had a small fridge and microwave. There is a McDonald's and Bob Evans at the same exit. One exit east of the hotel (Exit 30 Alpine Ave) has many restaurants and stores. This is the first time a hotel check-in clerk has made such a big deal about booking through HOTWIRE. Without going into details the booking was problematic. In the end it all worked out, but because of the problems, I personally would never choose this hotel again. Hope all goes well for your husband

Yes, I can confirm the Icons were: Fitness Center and Business Center I also booked this hotel (Hilton Garden Inn) for 1 night in November, 11/27 - 11/28, for the same price. I wanted this hotel the second time in December and a different 3* showed up. I added 1 child, and the 3* changed to this one with Fitness Center and Business Center Icons, I took a chance and it was the Hilton Garden Inn again. Side note: It is within walking distance (across the parking lot) of Fountain Walk outdoor mall with restaurants and a theater complex.

We will only be using the hotel for a place to sleep while driving from MI to NY for a Cruise :o For me, It's not really about the $2-3 dollars..... It's more about the challenge.... :) Before bidding I takes notes, study previous wins and devise a strategy for bidding. I am usually very successful. I started priceline bid using Savingsbarn.com Saturday, November 11th, 1 Night 2 Rooms Parsippany-Hanover 2.5* - $35 Priceline Accepted - Summerfield Suites Parsippany/Whippany (I think) this hotel appeared on hotwire for $62 (3* Suite, Fitness, Business, Kitchen) so... I thought I was really starting low at $35, with room to work to find lowest possible price. Although I am very happy I was succesful! I can't help being just a bit dissapointed that I got it my first try.....wondering, could I have went lower?
