  1. 1. Downtown - River North 2. Magnificent Mile - Gold Coast 3. Chicago Loop - Grant Park 4. Downtown Chicago - Millennium Park 5. McCormick Park - South Loop - Soldier Field 6. West Loop - Medical District $175 maximum bid. Can start with 4 star and lowest would be 3 star. Thanks!
  2. I'd say our max budget would be around $175 before taxes/fees.
  3. I'd say 20 mins walking to the venue area. Otherwise I do have the option to get VIP parking so I can always drive down myself. Basically looking for anywhere downtown or close to downtown for lowest price and 3 stars or up. What do you think the price range would be to start at for bidding? Thanks in advance!
  4. Will be going to Chicago for a concert on Friday, June 2nd. Concert is at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island so looking to stay within 20 minutes or so of area. Would like to be in the $150-$175 range. Nothing special needed since we won't be there much, preferably 3 stars or above.
  5. Oh I have most definitely been eyeing up some pizza places and I will add this one to the list. appreciate the heads up!
  6. ended up winning with a bid of $140 for a 3.5* in Brooklyn. Hotel Indigo Brooklyn is where we will be at. Do either of you have any knowledge/experience with this hotel? In 2011 we stayed at the Sheraton Brooklyn which is literally right across the street. Was very easy to access the subway and also the Fulton Mall so I am satisfied with the area.
  7. Thanks for your input. NYC is where we are for sure going so guess I will see what happens when bidding. We did stay in Brooklyn in 2011 and it wasn't that bad so might look there again.
  8. Greetings! My future wife and I are looking to book travel to NYC for the dates of 4/11-4/16 of this year. We are looking to be in the $100 per night range as far as pricing goes. Location is more flexible as long as it is close to subway so we can get to other parts of the city. Some of the ones we are looking at are listed below. Chelsea Area Empire State Building Area Greenpoint - Williamsburg Midtown East Midtown West Madison Square Garden - Convention Area Times Square - Theatre District (not sure about the lower districts like SoHo, Union Square, Downtown - Financial, etc. Thoughts on those?) Does that price range work with the dates of travel? What would be the best bidding strategy for this?
