The most important part that we'll need to go to eat in the evening and I want to be safe and also to be able to get to the attractions of the city easily with public transport or walking..

(my husband is on convention and is not joining us) - I want to make sure that it's safe and pleasant at evening and nice to walk in. What about 3.5* in fishermen's wharf for $204? What can it be? Do you know if those hotels are good and have good location?

We are a family of 2 + 3 kids, so want a room with 2 queen beds (and if possible + sofa, if not - will ask for roll-away bed). The budget is <$180-$200 including taxes and fees. Are there good deals on express deal priceline or hotwire? I saw 2 5* hotels on priceline, $137 and $116 - what can they be? $116 doesn't have bed choice, not sure it's suitable.. Hotwire has one for $175 and one for $183 ($209 for 2 queens) - what those hotels can be? Are there any good 4.5* hotels that might be cheaper? Would really appreciate your help! Thanks, Ira.
