  1. Thank you both for your replies. I was hoping to spend less than that, but wasn't sure what a reasonable price was around that time. Would $120/night (max) be reasonable for a 3-3.5 star hotel?
  2. Hi, I'm new to Better Bidding / PRICELINE / HOTWIRE and am looking for help - I'm wondering when the best time is to start bidding (now vs. closer to the date) for a hotel would be. I'm looking to stay in a 4-star hotel in these areas in New York City: Chelsea Madison Square Garden Midtown East Midtown West Time Square Empire State Building from May 10-17, 2016. I also don't know how much I could start bidding at, as the current hotel rates in those areas look like they're ranging from $300-400 USD when I look on PRICELINE / HOTWIRE. What would the absolute cheapest rate/room/night be, given that it's in May? Or what can I expect to spend to get something that meets that criteria? Thanks in advance.
