  1. Got it! Thanks thereuare. Bid 4* MTW at $120 for 11/7 Rejected added MTE at $140 Accepted. Grand Hyatt New York. Hope the construction isn't too bad. How long does it typically take them to get the reservation? I want to call up and see if I can get two beds.
  2. I think I'll start with MTW (most desirable) and then add the other zones if rejected and then rebid MTW, per your recommendation. I'll take the risk of the kids having to sleep on the floor. I'm ready to roll, once you give me the strategy. Of course I always start at SavingsBarn.com
  3. I was about to put in my first bid, and I noticed that it confirms for two adults. I have two adults and two children (12 and 13). Will this be a problem? Also, my maximum is probably around $180. Does this change the bidding strategy? Of course I want the best deal possible, but I also want a room. :)
  4. I would just like to be close, so I figured that MTW would be the best. I would rather spend a couple of dollars more and be closer. Getting a Taxi with two kids is sometimes problematic when the theater lets out. I am familiar with the re-bidding process.. since I have read many of your posts! :)
  5. We have theater tickets for Friday 11/7. Would like to stay over close to the show. Would LOVE the Marriott Marquis, but any of the 4*'s look great. What would your strategy be?
