Following the same strategy as Wyomingtraveler on this forum -- I got a very good deal at the Hyatt in downtown denver for a one-night Sunday night stay in August. 1. Clicked the PRICELINE link on this site. :) 2. Bid $60 for 4* downtown denver, rejected (and it said for $17 more...but I knew better) 3. Added Northeast Denver, since there are no 4* hotels there, tried again for $65. Accepted. Easy and not shocking to see the Hyatt Denver come up, having read this forum. Am definately happy. Brian.

Re-bid 2*+, Philly Downtown only, $140, winner: Sheraton-Society Hill Hotel 3-star Downtown Philadelphia One Dock Street 2nd And Walnut Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19106 One night, Sat June 21st. $168 with the tax. Not unbelievable but still waaaay lower than I was seeing online -- summer saturday, after all -- with no bidding. Brian.

I have a late flight into Savannah, so just Pricelined a hotel stay for the first night... Savannah (airport), Fri 9/7/07 night only Bid: $45 (incl. fees $58) Got the Days Inn (1-star), which was advertising $65 / night + taxes, so consider me happy.

Have an unorthodox thursday-and-friday-night stay required in Seattle, and near Labor Day, too. So my expectations were tempered. Started bidding at $100, no luck. Tried $110, no luck.
